Clearly enough talent not to lose to three unranked double digit underdog opponents.

OK, serious question. If the man was honestly, legitimately convinced that in his judgment, he could not compete with any other player on the roster at QB, should he have made a change just to satisfy fans on a message board who thought “they couldn’t have done any worse?”

Would’ve said B+, but decision not to bench Milroe in multiple games compounded with today makes it a C
This. I was expecting some lumps in year one. But, refusing to even try another QB from the minute he stepped on campus is inexcusable. And I like Deboer.

Last year.
How many players on this team are going to go in the first round this year?
Who on this team will we hear their name called on Sundays in 3 years other that Ryan Williams?
It’s not loaded 4 deep from top to bottom like it has been for 15 years and it ain’t coming back regardless if Saban was here or not.

I give him a C as well just for for the fact that he kept the majority of the team and recruiting class together. But other than that, his decision to keep Milroe as the starter demolished his grade.

That’s a fine sentiment on the opening drive, but if your left tackle is getting whipped every play, the backup comes in. If your corner is getting whipped every play, the backup comes in.
You’ve deemed both starters better, but if it isn’t their day, they get replaced. Why is it different with the quarterback?

So Saban's super talented players are not good enough?
Saban took this team, with Milroe as QB to 12 wins, a SEC Championship and a playing spot. They also went 9-0 vs SEC teams.
With good coaching, this team is a 11-1 team and a playoff spot.

Look man. If you watched the Tenn, Oklahoma, and Michigan games and came away thinking wow those were evenly talented teams and we just didn’t get the breaks we needed then I don’t know what to tell you.
In my eyes we gave away all 3 of those games through poor qb play and terrible coaching.

I am hoping that someone, somewhere gets a loose tongue and spills the beans about the dynamic involved with Milroe.
And the people blasting DeBoer for not being large and in charge and benching Milroe conveniently forget that Saban after he tried it and it blew up in his face didn’t sit Milroe either when he had one foot on a banana peel even when he was going good.

That’s idiotic and more of your DeBoer is the antichrist drivel.
We had a horseshoe up our arse throughout 2023.

I don’t disagree. If you look at the main thread I said pull Milroe.
But I am beginning to think that Simpson will never play a down as the starter for this team.

Tenn- I saw Milroe miss about 15 wide arse open throws all from within about 20 yards. First half was the battle of awful QBs between Milroe and Imaleavea. Tough environment.
Oklahoma - yea bad loss, venables had two weeks to prep for and we were not prepared.
Mich - all on 4

It's a completely different offensive scheme that DeBoer would normally run and had to TRY and make work at the behest of keeping Milroe and the majority of the team. Jalen Milroe is not a good qb. His legs and loyalty kept him in the position.

No it wasn’t. Our head coach had 4 quarters to bench said qb. The loss is on both of their shoulders
