Honestly…I’m leaning toward placing this year’s group as Saban’s 2nd worst Bama team ahead of only the 2007 team.

The team doesn’t seem to have any leadership…and I think only 3 alphas.

It's been 3 games (and we're 3-0 with a road win over a top 10-15 team?). Seriously, how joyless is Alabama football to some of you folks?

i wonder where you would’ve ranked the 2015 team the day after they lost their sec opener at home to ole miss?

much lower than they would have deserved i’m sure. simple minded fan.

The 2015 team had some dogs and redeemed themselves.
I’m not seeing many dogs on this team.

Also, the 2015 team was a bit more innovative on offense.

Are you just trying to troll the board, or are youseriously gonna try to evaluate this team 3 games into the season?

Way too much football left to be played before having this discussion, and no one talks more about all-time matches and best ever stuff than I do.

This team feels a bit like the 2014 one, but again we're only three games in. Let's see where we're at in Week 8 or 10.

Plus we're 3-0! This team would blow the doors off the 2007 group.

Good point. In my opinion, 2015 was one of the best teams we ever had. Most sportswriters don't think so but I do.

In terms of most "dominant" or "best ever" it would rightfully not rank that highly.

But in terms of a team that improved and got better across the board and stepped up to the challenge again and again, it's one of my favorite sports teams of all-time. And it was a great team.

I’d put them in the same group as the other two undefeated teams right now.

Alabama fans after beating what is/will be a top 10 team on the road in game 3 - we suck

Get a grip you overly emotional woman, we can’t rank this team against the others after 3 games.

At halftime of the UGA game last year many of y’all thought Mac sucked

Brother what is this shite? Last years team let Ole Miss have their way and we could have lost that game. Also remember the UF game in the SECCG ? We are 3 in, need more identity and gel. If those happen we are a very good team. Let’s put this in perspective. Bryce played his first game ever in a hostile crowd and it was loud AF. He didn’t make really any mistakes, minus the no run in. The defense was the eye sore and need to improve. They can simplify and let the athletes be athletes in 2 weeks.

2015 would have deserved to be ranked low the day after that game.`

They're also testimony to why such rankings are pretty meaningless. I grew to love Jake Coker more than some of the more talented QBs we had, just because of his toughness and leadership and how he worked so hard to improve.

This team has some issues, and there are also a lot of bright spots. We had no verticle passing game at all, our OL wasn't as solid as we would have liked, the defense gave up a lot of yards, and we all know the coordinators are suspect.

But let's focus on the bright spots, the most important being Bryce Young passed his first test in a hostile environment and didn't get us beat. BRob ran hard and came up big when needed. We just need to be confident that we will improve, as we always seem to do.
