I have received a lot of questions regarding Alabama Edge rusher Yhonzae Pierre.
After checking in with a few people close to Pierre, they confirmed to me that he is not going anywhere.
Pierre has had a great spring and has gotten compliments from his defensive coaches. #RTR

I think we should refer to him exclusively as “Iowa transfer Kadyn Proctor”

But...does Iowa get to claim him when he's a 1st round pick?

He claims us both like Hurts with us and OU

Did he throw a single catchable pass? My god.

137 quarterback rating despite 25 tds to only 2 ints. I’m not sure how that’s possible

Think he has some legal issues

Cormani McClain, #1 CB in the Class of '23 (signed with Colorado), is in the portal.

He really struggled at Colorado this past season.

Anthony Johnson Jr from Western Kentucky is also in the portal. He was the 4th highest graded CB last year by PFF.

Was he coached by Charles Kelly?

Not so sure he's a take. Red flag city at Colorado, even taking the rest of their circus aside. Reportedly would no-show practice and meetings. Talked back to coaches. Would hide in the bathroom to avoid practice. Many disciplinary issues.
No good

Unpopular opinion: our assistant coaches the last few years really declined in quality.
Was at a low with that group that scattered after the Clemson NC championship debacle, improved with Sark for the 2020 run, then fell off again.

That is a VERY POPULAR opinion. Position and coordinator coaches took a dip with a few notable exceptions.
I honestly think that was sort of the first thing to go with coach was the relentless due diligence on coaches and players. I always heard he had a binder full of potential coaches he found promising to bring aboard. By the end it must’ve been a laminated index card. And after retiring he would talk about the players being different now but he really had his pick of most of the players he wanted and part of the recruiting process is what kind of character do they have. I actually think a lot of the players showed a lot of character by sticking around post retirement.
Love coach to death and I think his last year he still had his fastball coaching. But if something started to slip it looked like it was the little things that are a grind.

Not so sure that opinion is as unpopular as you think.
