Alabama is pretty deep at DL. Some of the perceived softness from A-Day, imo, will be resolved when the presumed interior DL and LB are playing.

I think they intend for him to start at corner opposite our other transfer from SoCal, Domani Jackson. Just a hunch because We Good at safety in my opinion despite losing Downs.

We've got tons of safeties, but only about 5 guys who can play corner, and 4 of them have never played a college snap. We need to replace the 7 guys who could play corner who left in the portal or for the NFL.
Two years as a starter almost guarantees him a starting job at corner, unless one of the freshmen is just a phenom at the position. We're desperate for experience at the position.

Woods had 503 snaps on defense 455 were at boundary corner. He isnt a safety dont know why they said he was.

He got burned for a 75-yard TD in their Spring game, but he was still a starter last year, so kind of surprising he's transferring

Also don’t want to lose Mitchell or Edric Hill. Hill looks like he’s got some potential to be a very good player inside.

So much for the idea that Brailsford is leaving. Clearly not. I would say that we clearly now need to pull someone from the portal at o-line.

Brailsford coming in as a Freshman-AA all but sealed it for Brockermeyer. Wish him luck out there, I think he can be a solid P5 starter if he put some good weight on.
