Might be worth scraping together the money for this guy, assuming it’s not something crazy like him demanding $8 million.

Hell, he’d be worth it from a culture aspect if nothing else.

It made no sense for him to come here or us to take him

I’d love to get one more run stuffing DL in the middle to go with the Oregon transfer. I believe OL is set. Lots of competition there

Almost certain that the agent just arranged this and seeded the Alabama bullshite to secure some bag.

If we were the name drop play, wouldn't Miami have just said "wait, so you want us to pay you less?"

If Golding was really stupid enough as alleged to directly text the player instead of going through an agent or other contact, it's a pretty clear violation.

You can count on the NCAA to do NOTHING. Still a REALLY bad look for Ole Miss.

I don't know, I feel like impermissible contact is one of the few things the NCAA can actually prosecute because it is about the school fricking up not the NCAA/schools fricking over the player.

Yep. I assume Huff but that’s only speculation based on what I hear in radio.

That's the obvious choice. Message board speculation has also mentioned Brandon Jones (Missouri OL coach), Matt Luke, and the Iowa OL coach (George Barnett).

Brandon Jones makes some sense because Mizzou sorta seems to tracking down a similar path as us in terms of OL scheme preferences.

I have my doubt Iowa's OL coach is leaving but they're the gold standard at teaching zone schemes.
