Eh he is in 911 money there. That would be my preference.

You could get a 911 Carrera T for the kind of money you spend to get a S580. That's all I'm saying too...

S580 is the absolute gold standard for full-size luxury but that is something I'd probably get to drive my kid to school then let that V8 rip after I get out of the school zone.

Alabama is expected to hire Adrian Klemm
will be interested to see. hes had some incredibly good lines that hes coached, and hes had some bad ones like the 2016 UCLA line. Supposed to be a good recruiter, cant be worse then Kap was coaching them up. If we could get a line that the 2022 oregon one, we would win it all. 5 sacks allowed all year and averaging over 200 yards rushing is nice. they lost 24 yards to sacks that entire season. We lost 247 yards to sacks this season. Has several 1 season stints, but some of those are getting promotions or being part of an entire staff change like at NE. Think this is a solid but maybe not spectacular hire

Very fair. I have a neighbor with a maybach SUC and it’s nasty, t
I plan to be a 80s to 90s 911, or a Jaguar XJS within the year for a weekend ride for me and the Mrs. Depending on certain goals, and my crippling addiction to nice watches. lol

Buying the wife an AMG GLE63 when I retire in 4 months. She's in love with them.

I'm more down to Earth. I'm gonna buy and restore an old 80s GMC Jimmy, Ford Bronco or Dodge Ramcharger.

Just curious... are watches the only jewelry you wear?

im a vintage guy. Started dealing in mostly pre-1980 watches about 18 months ago. Actually heading to Florida on Valentines weekend for the NAWCC Florida Regional. Hoping to find plenty of inventory from all of the retirees.

Current favorite is my 1929 Benrus Airman with its Original box and band. Was made to look similar to the Hamilton Piping Rock.

My most valuable watch is a 3 way tie. Have an original early 50s Zodiac ref 691 "Pre-Wolf", worth roughly $2500. Have a Zodiac Triple Calendar Moonphase Automatic from the same period and same value. Lastly an Angelus Cal 315 Chronograph. Need's some TLC, buts its also a $2500 watch.

In those years, the Ramchargers are by far the cheapest to buy currently, also the hardest to find parts for...the blazers/broncos, you can still find decent units for 10-15k, but most nice drivers are 20k+...I dabble with 1st gen broncos in my spare time, but watch the market for all old 60-90's suv.

So. It depends on what you call vintage. My pride is a 1990 date just. I also have some newer Hamiltons, but I want to buy a speedy next to hand down to my son one day. I’m also a gun but, which tends to be another expensive hobby. Round that off with golf, and my wife has his the trifecta lol

Can y'all please STFU about watches and cars? This is not the thread for that discussion.

My lesbian friend bought me a Rolex for my birthday. I think she misunderstood when I said “I wanna watch”

Ok that’s the last one. Back to transfers!!!

A Pats fan I know said Klemm is a better coach than he was a player. Take that for whatever it's worth. Klemm spent most of his career with New England during the first 3-title run as their bench utility lineman. In that respect, I've found that people like him often are better teachers in this sport because they got to the pros by maximizing their technical ability more so than their physical ability.
