I think a lot of it has to do with 70% of the board being old as shite. New things scare them and being forced out of their comfort zone is terrifying.

Define old as shite because the most perpetually angry at fricking everything people these days are GenXers in their late 40s/early 50s who are highly active on social media.

That's probably a Boomer. I don't get the impression that there are that many of them here. Maybe 20-30% of what I see reads like how my dad texts.
