I’d much rather be in the playoffs regardless of our defense.

100 yard pick six away from a rematch with LSU. We’d get boatraced again though.

Kind of glad to not be in the hunt this year. I hope the media counts Bama out of it next year and opens out of the top 10. Would love to be the underdog for a change.

With a few returning juniors, they should make a good run next year. The schedule strength will be pretty legit too, so there shouldn’t be much falling asleep at the wheel. USC and Georgia right off the bat.

As good as LSU is on offense, college football was robbed of the best offense in college football when Tua went down.

Todays SEC Championship didn't have anything close to the feel of the game last year.

33-13 at the half. A brain fart long TD at the end of the game made it look closer than it actually was. LSU got a comfortable lead and coasted. While we shot ourselves in the foot plenty of times, that’s just the way Bama plays now.

A rematch with no Tua would look a lot like the Georgia game did today.

You're a damn lie. Without Tua we still have a competent offense and we would have offensive success against LSU. UGA has no offense.

You should have watched the game. Bama trailed by 6 with 14:33 left in the game and trailed by 5 with 5:32 left in the game.

LSU wasn't coasting at all. They were doing everything they could to keep from giving the ball back to an offense they couldn't stop in the second half.

What kept Alabama from winning every game, in order:

1. Lack of discipline (coaches and players, stupid penalties, missed assignments, improper personnel)

2. Injuries on defense

3. Kicking game

4. Tua's injury

5. Just unfortunate ref calls. Not going all out blaming, but just a couple of key questionable calls ( LSU receiver stepped out of bounds, last second FG for AU) that went the other way.

Think the injuries on defense should be 1.

if we got boatraced so did they. Took a blown call on a TD to beat us by 5 points

The cards fell our way to sneak into the playoffs, however without Tua there was absolutely no hope we'd win the playoff anyway.

Still, I'd rather have been there than not.

We've got a puncher's chance against anyone because of the pros (pun intended), but likely lose because of the cons and undisciplined play. We're simply not one of the best teams in CFB in 2019 - when the list narrows to the absolute cream of the crop. We were close though - with and through injuries that ought to punctuate a helluva chapter on injuries in Saban's autobiography.

And it's not that big of a deal. We'll be right back in the thick of things in a handful of months. Enjoy the game for its beauty, which is fleeting and real whether its Alabama's glory or someone else's.

There are no "poor me"'s welcome around here.

Absolutely, I very much want all those sports pukes on espn and all the other networks to bloviate about Bama football being over and LSU, Auburn, UGA, and Florida taking over. I hope they pound all of that rhetoric into the ground. Hopefully we open 2020 pre season at #15 or lower.

LSU would have skull drug us without Tua. They are actually playing defense now.

I have a feeling that the committee would've caved to the pressure and put OU #4

Oh yea without a doubt even if we had won the Iron Bowl Oklahoma would still be #4 right now.
