Agreed - we did pretty much start a walk-on at HB last year.

With all due respect, that walk-on had the block of the year in the sec championship game. The run right before the game winning touchdown pass.

CJ? HaHa? Belue?

If we truly don't have a vocal leader, then this is looking more and more like 2010.

He said Mosley is a by example leader, there's just no "ra ra" type guy with a big mouth(in a good way) yet.

And some random information, the Cyrus in "Cyrus Kouandjio" is not pronounced "Cyrus" according to Cyrus. It's something along the lines of "Searis".

Are you "Searis"? Whatever he wants, he gets.

On NSD our '13 class was highlighted by RBs and LBs but it might wind up being remembered for the CBs and DL

makes sense, he is from Cameroon (former french colony) and that is the French pronunciation.

Belue,

Really wanna see what kind of season he has. I know it's gonna be good, I wanna know how good.

* Of the returning starters defensively, DePriest is the likeliest to lose his spot if anyone.

Key part being "if anyone".

quote:

* Dickson is not really a OLB or 5 tech, subpackage rusher

Rushing Devall, Pagan, Dickson, and Hubbard all together will definitely put pressure on QBs.

* Still looking for a vocal leader defensively

I'm sure someone is gonna step up at every level. That actually may be a reason Vinnie has the starting job over LC.

quote:

* Maurice Smith may be the next Bama CB, looking sharp

Hopefully this means after Geno, and hopefully Maurice and Cook both blossom into studs.

That's my words FWIW, just the way I took it. He said "the most at risk".

I would take that as "if anyone" as well. Hard for inexperienced guys to beat out experienced guys in the secondary, and the DL is pretty much set. CJ is an All World player, Hubbard was the top pass rusher a year ago, and Devall already took Dickson's job for the most part. Trey's got Reub and Reggie pushing him.

Personally I would have thought that Ivory was the most at risk, but it seems I would have been wrong in thinking so.

Might want to check the photos a little more closely...Dickson (top) and Stinson (bottom).

Trey is tough to figure. Some have him being a break-out player and high draft pick. Others have him in jeopardy of losing his job.

Nope. Stinson was #47 his freshman year.

I'm in group 2. He doesn't seem to read plays well and he isn't fast enough to make up for it.

Depriest? He had a good year, and played great in some games, most notably the LSU game(besides that missed tackle), and the Mich game. He had an excellent spring game too. The guy has been getting real playing time since he was a true frosh. He aint losing his job.
