Once again Slade Bolden is stealing snaps from more talented players that can actually catch and add some explosiveness to the offense and special teams. Slade Bolden needs to get familiar with a clipboard. If the offense doesn't clean up his mess with that dropped ball in the endzone that hit him in the freaking eyeballs Bama loses that game today, and all the slade sunshine pumpers on this board would be crying in their beer. I called it last week.

OL has to be retooled. Need a better more explosive player in the slot.

I still have no idea WTF I just witnessed from the defense.

We are spoiled to receivers who can catch almost everything. To'o was out of position the whole game - coaching. We've vacated the middle repeatedly. Florida ate us up in the middle. Our defensive backs were abused.

Young had one good scramble... A tool that, had we used, would have added two more touchdowns

Bryce is definitely not the problem- he has played very well, but he ABSOLUTELY has to start using his legs some to keep these defenses honest. Holy shite- dude looking at wide open lanes to run through and will not pull the ball down.

Another point not being discussed is we have one elite (kind of) level receiver...

Jameson Williams.

The rest are inconsistent, suck or a young and still feeling things out.

They struggled to get separation and our young QB struggles to throw the deep ball accurately.

So basically all that happened was Grantham realized we weren't a deep threat then loaded the area so we couldn't run wide and needed to run inside the tackles.

If we don’t find a way to throw successfully deep we're in big trouble because we have a dolt calling our defense.

He had an absolutely awful game. A lot of it was metal errors which is surprising given how much praise the coaches gave him for being a smart player.

What’s to complain about? We won in a tough place to play with a young QB and relatively inexperienced OL.

21-3.

21-3.

21-3

And look at the final score. This team is loaded with more talent than any other team in the Saban era (imo). Not saying we have alpha players in key positions. Just that every position has a premier player.

The receivers cannot catch a ball when a defender is in position.

3rd and 19 inside the 10 yard line and they convert? Really.

This team doesn’t have what it takes to win a championship.

I hope I’m wrong.

Tennessee fans mentioned a lot that he wasn’t a good coverage LB. and this was before he left so they weren’t being salty

UF played us the best and closest last year. It's not totally surprising to me that they played us tough again.

Ekiyor and Owens are the ones who continually frick up, and they have 8 combined seasons of college football experience prior to this year.

I wonder if the Fire Pete Golding is a new thread or just one that's been bumped from the last few years??

I wont over react to the defense as Mullen took advantage of what we showed him and what we never changed during the length of the game.
1.Threw the ball against ToTo who's not known for his pass defense in space.
(Sabaan and golding could have used moody on more 3rd downs.)

2.Attacked Hellems who does not have good change of direction in open space or closing speed.

3.Those QB options at Drew sanders who was being told to come hard off the edge and does not have length and just the experience that Allen has.
(But please note the kid sanders played his butt off)

Offensively
1.The right side got exposed as expected.
2.Obrien went away from those Passes in the flat too the RB.
3.Don't hold the offense to accountable for the play clock because last yrs skills knew the offense like the back of the hands so less communication was needed. When it came to play adjustments at the line.

This game momentum maybe does not shift to fla if Metchie had caught the deep ball that Bryce threw on the run .We maybe punch that in for a 28-3 halftime lead.

That combined with bryce not running it in on goal line. Also B Rob did not run behind 45 on the first carry from the 2 yrd line.My biggest complaint was allowing the FLa 99 yard drive in which we gave up the third down conversion from inside there 10.
Note-
Helleams, TOTO in open space pass defense.
