I was asking buddy if Kane Wommack ever had the talent here at Alabama...I know he hasn't.

Our OLB's are also edge rushers and we didn't run an OLB coach in 2023. Roach is the only guy that would handle it I would have assumed

Then you are drunk on the new hire still. This staff will be lucky to get a top 15 class next year. We will likely lose another 5-10 starters.

There is an accepted box of SEC related coaches that these group think fans consider as the only ones that can coach.

Thats not fair at all. Saban just said he had to retire because he could no longer get the coaches he WANTED because of his age.
DeBear hasnt hired anyone... he simply asked all his buddies if they wanted jobs at Alabama too.
It smells of Dabo IMO.

We have been in Nickel at least 80% of the time for the last 10 years. I would bet of Nickel, Dime, Rabbit, and base 3-4, we have been in base 3-4 the least of those since like 2015.
There are many types of nickel (5 DBs) packages. Alabama played some 3-3-5 and 4-2-5 nickel this year. I think they were most successful in 4-2-5.
I imagine we probably have the personnel to run this scheme no problem.
