Ansley could be a secondary coach for sure.

Bill Clark & Germy Pruitt is the best defensive coordinators out there but ones retired and the other is on a show cause.

Wommack ain't chopped liver. People only look at where he's at now and judge him. He's made a name for himself at South Alabama.

They’d probably go for the OC which was the interim during the games Harbaugh was suspended

This honestly sounds exactly like the argument that people made when Golding was hired

Here is something to consider.

If Harbaugh jumps to the NFL, his staff becomes potential targets and the Michigan players enter the 30 day window. The same happens to the school Harbaugh's replacement comes from, I have read that B, Kelly at LSU would get a look. While I doubt BK is an option because of buyout if for no other reason, it would be fun to watch the 30 day window shift to Red Stick.

Dude ain't coming back to be a secondary coach.

Ryan Anderson, Nick Gentry, and Will Lowery are pushing for Germy.

Staley was still calling defense in that game, was the 1 that got him fired.

I just don’t get why we have to stoop to a guy who was a one year DC and now a three year head coach at south Alabama instead of someone proven and far better

Why are we bargin bin shopping like we’re Southern Mississippi?

So what do people have to see to realize Pruitt isn’t an option

One reason is because DeBoer already knows him and trusts him, I think from Indiana. You want to hire people you know and trust.

Saban hadn't coached with Golding before, DeBoer coached with Wommack at Indiana, where he was the OC, and Wommack was the DC.

Jim Leonhard
Anthony Poindexter
Tom Allen

That’s my point though, why are we pulling a Golding esque DC hire?

I don't think there's anything wrong w hiring a Sun Belt HC to be a coordinator.

Billy Clark is the best by a long shot.

Kane Wommack ain't nowhere near Golding.

I’m honestly fine doing a CO-DC thing UW had with the exact same people. They had a good defense and not near our talent.
