Pretty much how I feel. I hate the new NIL game that has taken the place of pride for the school you are playing for. I'm over it.

Yeah, and I'm saying from the outside looking in that it doesn't feel like DeBoer has prioritized filling out his defensive staff despite the fact most of the best talent on this team is on defense. It would be a sad failure to lose a guy who had 100+ tackles as a true freshman safety in crimson and white because not enough was done to secure his confidence in the program.
If Caleb Downs doesn't want to be here that is an us problem not a him problem.

The reason OSU fans are cocky is because they were the runner ups to Bama in Caleb Downs recruitment not Georgia. Caleb himself said that it was between Bama and OSU.

My point was retaining the critical defensive staff was more important than dragging his Great Plains and Pacific Northwest Posse. The offer should not have happened on Sunday night. It should have happened Friday night on the private jet.

Saban all but said he was forced out because his age was hanging over his head. He could no longer hire the coaches and coordinators that he wanted. (explains golding and a few other things)

Look I don't want to fight with my fellow fans about this stuff but losing Caleb Downs would be a gut punch to any efforts to keep the roster together. He's the best player on the roster in my estimation and the type of talent that could singlehandedly change the trajectory for a defensive unit in DeBoer's first two years.
