You know, Saban has said very recently that he hates the early signing period. I bet his arse is loving it now, though.

There's no way Butch will be our next OC. Going from Mascot to Coordinator is too big a promotion.

WR coach, maybe.

Nuss and Mac both won titles. Applewhite won the RB coach job at Texas.

I would argue in spite of their mediocre offenses at times

I can deal with anyone but Nuss again

Sure I'm in the minority, but I liked Nussmeier for the most part. The offense was pretty lethal in 2012 and 2013, as well as being very balanced...his play-calls against ND in the BCSCG were on point throughout...not to mention he had a couple of the more iconic play-calls in Bama history: the screen pass to Yeldon in the 2012 LSU game in Death Valley and the play-action bomb from AJ to Coop in the SECCG against UGA...

Sean Salisbury...was on the radio recently in Cleveland basically begging for a QB coach job. Said LSU asked some time back, but his kids were too young. Runs his won QB camp also

Seems like a staff Ed O would be proud of.

Very possible the Butch to Maryland deal stopped because Nick knew what was coming over the hill regarding his own staff. Receiver coach looks to be the only stop for him if he is to stick with The King.

Princeton guy gets the play calling OC job and Butch gets the WR/ co-OC

Butch will be there to hold his hand thru the transition

Guys, guys, guys...we are missing the biggest project to the Saban Rehabilitation School for Coaches, Urban Meyer. Let him run the offense and recruit, and he won’t have the pressure of the HC job.

He wasn't great at all, but he also had the least amount of talent to work with than any of the other coordinators.

You should go ahead and prepare for Butch Jones to be the WR coach in 2019 for The King.

Butch played WR/RB in college and he coached WR for Rich Rod at WVU.

Get ready....

People get ready, there's a Butch train a comin'
You don't need no baggage, you just get on board
All you need is faith, to hear the diesels hummin'
Don't need no ticket, you just thank the Lord

Nussmeier was great until he got inside the 15 or so. His goal-line play-calling was...infuriating.
