It appears no one wants our defensive coaches. What does that say about them?

Reier said 1-2 are going, so it may not say much at all, so much is in flux still for many teams staff wise.

If Tosh and Golding are out on the road recruiting then that only leaves the DB and DL coaches to depart.

AmIrite?

Yup. I'm fine with losing the DB coach. Losing the DL coach would hurt

I dont know how much I blame Scott for Surtain and Smith just being not physically ready yet to stand up to large physical Wr's, but yeah I am fine with it if it means we can move Golding to Db's and get a real ILB coach. Coach kool will hurt but it is possible that what he teaches just doesnt line up with what we need from the position.

From several reports, both Ole Miss and Oklahoma wanted Golding as their DC...

Well the only one that can fix it is him.

Golding coaches ILBs and Tosh was coaching outside.

I know, I fixed it because i just got my wires crossed. Golding has coached Db's before and that might be the place to put him.

I'd like Tosh to coach the DL. Saban seems to like him with the OLBs though. As far as Golding, might as well put him with Saban and the DBs, because he sure didn't help the ILBs

He's a head coach so I doubt he would leave. Believe they even made it to a bowl game

It's not his natural spot, but honestly with position coaching it's almost impossible to know how much a coach can impact in one year especially with a new DC also there.

He's a head coach who just went to his conference title game and a bowl in Year 1.

I can agree to an extent, but our ILBs were making simple fundamental mistakes that I haven't seen in a long time by our linebackers. No excuse for the play we got from that position this season
