Leatherwood’s had a bit of a tough night. By his standards at least.
And Mac, as amazing as he’s been, still makes me a bit nervous when there’s pressure. Happy feet at times.

Stark wants a quick score to get second unit guys mixed in.
But everything that worked in first is not there because MSU going more zone.
That close INT was zone coverage and making Mac hold it longer.
You cant blame MSU DC for going more zone as Smitty killed those slot blitz which put him on safeties.

I had to listen to a few minutes of Eli while driving, and it’s terrible. Most of the broadcast is just advertisements. He said “Dominoes Drive for Dough” about 8 times.

I got a ton of downvotes for saying it early this week, but State’s defense is very good. Easily the 2nd best (if not THE best) we have faced.
Good defensive opponent coming off a big rivalry road win is a formula for a down game. Even so, we have 27 points and 350 yards with 7:00 left in the 3rd.
Just a few years ago, we win this game 17-6 and feel good about it. Funny how expectations change.
