Zero change DeBoer fires Grubb after one year. Gotta give him another year. Maybe he moves on on his own. We'll see.

It will never happen but I would be happy with the I Formation with Hill at FB. Extra blocker in the backfield and help create holes in defense to go through.

All season with every 2 yard run I've been telling myself that the law of averages says we'll break a long 40-50 yard TD run at some point because of just dumb luck. I see other teams regularly ripping off big runs.

Alas...

ve come to understand that theres no ebb n flo, no rhyme or reason, its probably the most schizophrenic offensive play calling ive ever seen
Passing is too complicated and the running is too simple/predictable. Grubb is obsessed with running space plays to short side of field. He is all over the place on play-calling. Grubb or Sheridan will be the demise of Deboer.

Anyone else hearing Ty has had a back injury since the Mizzou game via that bad hit he took? Remember the Georgia game where he slid like a scared man? Maybe he had to. I been watching football for 60 years, I have never seen a QB go from so good to so average without an injury.

People on Facebook saying all kind of thing, people have seen.

Bama fan.. I have been deep diving into a lot of this and that since Sunday morning…. reports speak to the tackle at the Missouri game, it was not a good hit. Which honestly makes since for an injury. And heat pads on the bench as well.

Georgia Fan... as a Ga fan when he slid behind the line instead of taking the hit. I thought to myself. That guy is hurt and trying to protect himself.

So, anyone heard anything?

So, why not replace him? Well, after the OU loss, they might have felt if the revealed the injury, the Committee would leave them out if the back up lost the UGA game. If we lose Auburn we are out anyway, but if we won with a back up, then lose to UGA they might still have left us out.

Not saying I know anything, just asking if anyone has heard anything? If hes hurt we can not go to the back up if needed.

EDIT: Another quote: During the Auburn game it showed him getting electric stimulation on his back

You guys are not Bama fans, all you do is bellyache and cry. Bunch of crybaby cowards. When Bama wins the title again, maybe this year, you will all jump back on the bandwagon. To me, its obvious the QB is hurt. He should have been replaced, but if you do that it gives the committee an excuse to replace you like they did FSU in 2023.

When the year is over I am sure the truth will come out.

Making a joke about an OU player extending his pick streak to three games against us is bellyaching and crying?

We ran the ball 9 times (not counting the qb) I think against Georgia, I bet 6 of them were on first down. It’s not hard to know Grubbs tendencies, earlier in the year was harder and looked like the playbook was more open.

And a 3rd of those were on the opening possession. Grubb gives lip service to running the ball but the first time it gets stuffed, he abandons it completely. Look, I KNOW we weren’t getting much of anything running the ball but if you go 95% pass which is what Grubb has done, you make the defense’s job a whole lot easier. They don’t even respect the run and just pin their ears back and rush the QB. You keep handing the ball off and try to get some semblance of balance to set up play action, screens, draws, etc. and +2 yards on 1st down is a helluva lot better than a -8 sack setting up 2nd and 18. You really have little choice but to pass then.
There seems to be no overall strategy or flow to Grubb’s play calling. It’s more like he’s just throwing shite against the wall to see what sticks. Then when we do string a few plays together, he reaches into his Wile E Coyote ACME playbook for his double reverse throwback to the left tackle play to absolutely kill a drive. Drives me absolutely insane.

Kiss recruiting goodbye and get ready for 7-5 and 6-6 years.

You need RBs with some explosiveness and speed.

Glue Ty's butt to the bench and we win.

How exactly?

Bama still has the weak protection up front on pass plays, they still have WRs dropping passes, they still have a horrendous running game, they still have poor playcalling at times, they still have weak TE play now that the starter is out.

They will have the same issues as Ty.

What will an inexperienced QB do against a top 5 defense that Ty cannot do?

I’m not saying Ty is amazing. I’m just saying one of those two guys ain’t gonna be better against Oklahoma and/or Indiana.

I have no idea where offensive production will come from - but changing QBs right now is not gonna help. This ain’t Tua coming in being surrounded by Damien, Najee, Smith, Juedy, Ruggs, etc.

What would help is a QB playing to open things up not just executing what they're comfortable with.

The only reason why a younger QB would make things different is when they actually consistently throw a deep ball, it will force defenses to back the heck up and give us space to actually run the ball and throw those inside or intermediate routes.

Heck we don't even need a QB change if our QB could just do that. It would help his confidence as well
