Milwee was an offensive analyst at Bama 2019-2020. He wasn't an on the field coach. He wasn't coaching up any of those guys.

Loxley had been a head coach and OC at the collegiate FBS level.

Are you freaking kidding me? Have you really looked at Loxley's record before Saban hired him?
2005 Illinois OC went 2-9
2006 Illinois OC went 2-10
2007 Illinois OC went 9-4
2008 Illinois OC went 5-7
2009 New Mexico as HC 1-11
2010 New Mexico as HC 1-11
2011 New Mexico as HC 1-11
2012 Maryland OC went 4-8
2013 Maryland OC went 7-6
2014 Maryland OC went 7-6
2015 Maryland OC went 3-9 Interim HC
2016 Went to Alabama
Overall head coaching record is 23–54

One of Saban's most puzzling OC hires EVER. Saban should have had his azz kicked for hiring him in the first place. An example of a hire that never should have happened because he had never been proven to be a successful OC to Bama standards. He only did good here because he had great talent and was under Saban/other coaches in a good system.

You forgot to mention Locks was OC when Illinois went to the Rose Bowl. That's one of the best coaching jobs in modern day Big 10 football. That program doesn't go to Rose Bowls often. Also, Locks put together a really good offense at Illinois led by Juice Williams, Aurelius Benn, and Rashard Mendenhall.

Locks' recruiting prowess is already known.

Simply stating I don't think Milwee has done anything to be Bama's OC is being upset? Ok then.

Yeah, he is really kicking arse at Maryland in that tough Big 10 conference. (Corrected)
2019 3-9
2020 2-3
2021 7-6
2022 8-5

Based on Maryland's recruiting finishes since he arrived, his recruiting must not be that great.

Are you married? My wife tells me all of the time, "it isn’t what you say, but the TONE of what you said." Maybe the word "obsession" in your text reflects tone?? I have given up trying to understand women or this board lol

You're right. Milwee was basically Sark's offensive assistant when they were both here, but Milwee was the Akron OC from 2013-2018. So he does have OC experience, plus he should know Sark's offense and play calling tendencies like the back of his hand (I personally think Sark is one of the best OCs we've ever had).

Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying that I necessarily want him as our next OC, but if Saban ended up hiring him I would understand why.

To be honest, I'm not sure I even know who I want as OC that is a realistic choice. I've gone back and forth about Mullin. Lebby is someone that I think might be a good hire, but I'm not sure how good Oklahoma's offense was this year. I know who I want as our DC, but OC is a little more fuzzy.

I can tell you have no inside connections at all.

He worked with those quarterbacks trust me.

He also worked with the receivers some too.

Oh and must I add that AJ Milwee is a dam good recruiter...Arch Manning

Just piggybacking off your post.

When AJ Milwee was the coordinator the offense got BETTER. The quarterbacks, running backs, and wide receivers all broke some type of record but the most interesting thing was the offensive lineman there improved as well.

This is what I mean by meshing together.

I've never claimed to have any inside information. I'm just a fan like most on this board. I find it hard to believe Saban allowed Milwee to coach Tua, Mac, and Bryce against NCAA regulations though. Seeing as how analysts are prohibited from doing that.

I doubt it. I initially thought he looked like a really good candidate, but notsomuch now.

The offense he runs would theoretically work well at Bama. It sounds like he got there, saw the OL and primary back were undersized, and wanted to lean on outside zone runs + pass. Nagle had been there longer and felt they could do better with a diff approach, asked for a chance to prove it in practice, and did. HC went with the proven method which idk anyone can blame him for

Svoboda or Nagle would likely be creative upgrades at Bama. Depends on who you want QB to be. I’d say pick Svoboda if you’re a Simpson guy. Nagle if you want to roll with Milroe

Now look at Maryland's records before Locks got there. Do you even watch Maryland football? I do and they are a competitive team. frick what you say. Locks has done a good job at Maryland.

And, if Locks is recruiting so poorly he wouldn't have found our latest TE.

My biggest gripe with many of you is that instead of being quiet about things you know nothing of you spout ignorant shite.

Your stats are shitty and misleading. But, I know better. I saw Locks coach before he was at Bama. You didn't so you're pulling shite out of your stanky arse.
