Oatis bought into his hype and coasted on it.

Him being wishy washy about going into the portal for money this past off-season didn't paint a great picture.

Yep. Just doesn’t fit this new scheme.

Didn't exactly make a name for himself in the old system

Not good

Why? Because a guy who couldn't get on the field consistently is transferring??

Wommack said Oatis was battling injuries that kept him from playing time.

Deboer said that its been talked about for a little bit, but he doesn't want to put a lid on it. Sounded like he wants Oatis to stick around

Schools need to immediately revoke scholarships, remove access to facilities, and stop paying NIL for players that do this mid-season. Sorry but you're not training, working out, etc.. on our dime while shopping yourself to other programs. No hard feelings and guys gotta do what's best for them, but if you're making a business decision then the school should too.

Stud DL under Saban, can't get playing time under Womack.

Literally might be the best DL that Alabama has, yet he isn't getting on the field.

Put the best players on the field.

Shut the frick up, barner. Your program has enough issues of its own. Stay in your lane.

He was more of a project than a stud. Wish him the best just the same

Well that sucks..

This new defensive scheme is not it and Oatis would've helped against Vandy in a scheme that actually uses DL as more than stopgaps for LBs to make plays

Its the the new normal. Get used to it. Next year there will be an injured reserve list and inter-semester transfers as this sport moves at light speed toward professional football.

Wish him the best of luck. Adios. Thanks for being the best Lawry’s Carver we’ve had since January 2024.

The way the DL played against Vandy I'd think he'd have a shot to play in any scheme.

The minutes the guy has played this year were pathetic at best. He never came close to making a play and it looked like he didn't even want to be playing.

Something else has to be going on with this guy. He will NOT be missed at all with the effort he had shown in games.

I’m not the one who spends 24/7 trolling a rival team website. Degenerate a-hole.

He had a good TF season, but it’s a stretch saying he wrecked shite. He was going to transfer as soon as Saban retired and decided to stay so it’s been on his mind before now

Yes we will and not only from non starters after the season. If things continue the way they are going discipline wise and attitude wise expect a lot of flips. and transfer portal entries. NIL will make a lot of the key players leave also. Saban saw the writing on the wall. Sell out to the highest bidder.
