Hugh Freeze defends decision to play golf amid heavy criticism from fans:

"You know, everybody seems to like to talk about my golf game. … I do love golf. I enjoy playing, but what people don’t realize is, you know, I assure you that I never missed a camp day or a recruiting day but if camp got over at three o’clock one day, and Jill and I go out at 4:30, we absolutely might do that. And I’m not apologizing for that part of it. But my focus is 100% on getting Auburn in that win column this fall."

Personally, I hope fAU gives him a lifetime contract

Are we sure Clemson didn’t give them advertising money to do it?

Remember they don't have sidewalk fans. This is either a current student or a graduate of that fine institution

The other members weighed the $200 million against having to do a lot of travel to Memphis and it became a surprisingly easy decision.

How dumb is BK? Why would you say shite to rile up Clemson when that game is already going to be practically impossible to win?

Deion Sanders’ Future in Colorado Football Looks Uncertain

*Rumors are swirling in the College football world that Deion Sanders will resign as head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes. A press conference is set for July 28 at 10 a.m. MT, where Sanders will appear with his medical team. The unusual inclusion of doctors has fans and insiders believing that Sanders may cite health issues as his reason for stepping down.

Sanders, 57, has been away from the team since April due to an unspecified condition. He’s been recovering at his Texas ranch and has not attended spring or summer camps. This absence, combined with his visible weight loss and history of blood clots, has many worried about his long-term health.

In 2021, Sanders had two toes amputated due to complications from blood clots. He underwent multiple surgeries in 2023, and by May 2025, reports claimed he had lost 14 pounds. In a July 20 video, Sanders said, “I’m still going through something… I ain’t all the way recovered.”

Despite this, he made a public appearance at Big 12 Media Days on July 9 and visited son Shilo at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ training camp on July 23. Still, many believe the upcoming press conference signals a step back from coaching.

Say what you want, but if he wasn’t CFBs biggest jackass, everyone would say he’s done a pretty good job in Boulder (1-11 to 4-8 to 9-4)

I hope he stays in the sport. A good villain always helps

Which means the portal would open for Colorado players for 30 days; which is insane this close to the start of Fall camp.

Yahoo Sports story here

quote:

Colorado coach Deion Sanders announced Monday that he was diagnosed with bladder cancer earlier this year.

Sanders held a news conference to reveal the news as Colorado embarks on fall camp ahead of the 2025 season. Dr. Janet Kukreja, Sanders' doctor at the University of Colorado Cancer Center, said that Sanders had his bladder removed after a malignant tumor was found and that he had been "cured" from the cancer.

“The process wasn’t easy,” Sanders said as he said doctors presented him with multiple options to deal with the cancer.

Kukreja said the type of cancer Sanders was dealing with had a high recurrence rate and that he decided to go forward with the "curative" option of having his bladder removed.
