So . . .

If the game is played, and Bama somehow loses, does this mean that Nick will still be undefeated against former assistants?

Alabama's Nick Saban, Greg Byrne test positive for COVID-19 (BOL)
quote:

Alabama head football coach Nick Saban and director of athletics Greg Byrne have tested positive for COVID-19, the university announced in a release on Wednesday afternoon.

"Both immediately left the facility and went to their homes to self-isolate after receiving that information," said Dr. Jimmy Robinson and Jeff Allen in a joint statement. "At this point in time, the positive tests are limited to those two individuals. All individuals who are considered high risk contacts have been notified and will follow quarantine guidelines. We will follow the SEC’s Return to Activity and Medical Guidance Task Force Protocol for testing asymptomatic positives."

The Crimson Tide still practiced Wednesday with offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian taking over the reins. Saban is still set to address reporters via a Wednesday evening Zoom call.

Statement from Nick Saban

“I found out earlier this afternoon that I had tested positive for COVID-19. I immediately left work and isolated at home. At this time, I do not have any symptoms relative to COVID, and I have taken another PCR test to confirm my diagnosis. I informed our team of my positive test at 2 p.m. today on a Zoom call and let them know offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian will oversee preparations at the complex while I work from home.”

Statement from Greg Byrne

“Today, I received notice that my COVID-19 test from this morning came back positive. Upon hearing the news, I immediately entered self-isolation and will remain at home and follow all guidelines. We’ve been diligent about mask wearing and social distancing from the start and want to continue to encourage you all to take the necessary precautions to help stop the spread of this virus for yourself and those around you.”

The second-ranked Crimson Tide (3-0) is set to play host to the No. 3 Georgia Bulldogs (3-0) on Saturday, Oct. 17, at Bryant-Denny Stadium. The game will air at 7 p.m. CT on CBS.

The SEC has already postponed two games this week due to positive COVID-19 cases. Both the Missouri-Vanderbilt and Florida-LSU matchups have been rescheduled for Dec. 12.

Yeah, the game will go on unless a bunch of players start testing positive.

Could you run a practice from your house/computer screen while having a some intern wearing a Go-pro camera walking around in the same steps as Saban would have been doing?

My sources say that the Nick Saban clone grown from his old hip will be put into action this Saturday. This clone comes with enhance ability to chew out defensive coordinators.
