Daniel Jeremiah one of the top draft 'experts',who matches team needs to picks, has Jacobs as a top ten, even a top five prospect. He thinks he is that good. Wow.
Of course it's early.

He rates Jonah as the number Four OL and thinks he will be a Guard? Has Four Bama players going First Round- No Thompson.

heard another draft guru say no RB's will go first round but Jacobs could be first taken.

Might be the most underrated player in the SEC

I think he will do well for himself in league and can see him as the top RB off the board, but top 5 wow, that’s crazy!

I think Jacobs will be a good NFL back, but I don't think he will go anywhere near 5.

jmho,I don't see a RB being taken in the Top 10,maybe not 1st Round.

I'm usually wrong.

Josh Jacobs may be a guy that some Teams really want.Don't want to take the chance of him not being there next Round.

That’s a terrible mock draft, IMO.

First RB off board? Quite possible

Top 5 pick? No way.

Not in today’s league. RBs a dime a dozen.

List by pick of the expected money to be paid for each selection.

Say Josh is seleted 1st in the 3r round then his contract would be 4 million with 1 million dollar bonus. I believe that is what he is counting on for sure. Anything before that would be real gravy.

Lots of talk of Jonah sliding to the second because the NFL teams see him as a guard.

Even if a team picking in the top 5 wanted Jacobs. They would trade down and get the excess value of that pick

Lot of teams will try to find that Kamara/McCaffrey type RB and Jacobs is the best in the draft for that mold.

This happens every year. I'm not buying it.

I love Jacobs to death but no way I see that happening.

That is possibly the worst thought out mock draft I've ever seen. Is a requirement for a media analyst at nfl.com that you pay no attention to the needs of teams and/or the full complement of available college talent when making a mock draft?

There are many issues, jacobs as a top 20, let alone top 5 pick is the biggest. But DK Metcalf in the first round over AJ Brown just had me smh.

the "experts" are claiming Jonah's shorter than ideal length will cause him to slide in, but Cole Cubelic said on JOX this week that Joe Thomas length was smaller than Jonahs and look how he turned out.

I think this happens every year. Some where on the OL a 1st young guy doesn’t have the ideal size and strength. I think teams are just putting that out there in hopes that he slides further into the 1st round. He will show out at the combine and pro day. I don’t see him after number 10.

Barkley was the 2nd overall pick last year.

Barkley was a better prospect too.

Yes, this happens all the time. It's why you just can't trust anything anonymous scouts and executives are saying leading up to the draft.

Jacobs isn’t a top five pick, but at least I’m pretty sure he’s going to be a good pro. Mack at 28 is the real head scratcher.
