Just woke up, figured I would check in make sure I didn’t miss anything….essentially there is no news; which means we are creating our own bad news. Am I right?

Sexton and other lawyers are involved. Nothing happens fast when contracts are being negotiated

No news from the portal so far is good news. How long that will last no one knows

Was it Dabo or his coordinators. Since Venables and Tony Elliott left, Clemson has been Clemsoning

Dabo

Everyone likes to say he hasn't kept up with the times. But, the dude just lucked into the perfect situation. He's not going to resurrect himself without another perfect storm. He's too dumb. I never wanted him here, and I certainly haven't changed my mind on that.

We should have had a coach in waiting

This is as comical as 2007. So when people said then that no coach wants Bama job then due to decline of program then ... complete lie. Bama is not an attractive place for family of coaches. Why would Sark wife leave Austin for T town.

The coach in waiting concept has pretty much been discarded as a failure. It almost never works out in practice. Why would Sark perpetually stay at Alabama for perhaps another decade, when he could make much more money as head coach of a major program immediately?

I love me some Alabama football, but people seem to forget that there are more opportunities in the world then what's in Tuscaloosa.

If we don't have a guy before the portal opens you might as well shut the program down.

We'll have a coach by end of the day tomorrow. Sexton didn't spend the night in Tuscaloosa for the all you can eat Dreamland ribs and banana pudding.

Or maybe he did.

I can't see us not getting a decision today.

Lannning off the board
Sark off the board
If DeBoer does that radio show today, he's off the board as well

Norvell Dabo or Kiffin after that would guess have to be in the mix

Marcus Freeman is my dark horse candidate. McElroy mentioned him the other day

Did sexton sleep at the facility? You cannot convince me that man could sleep on a blowup mattress without deflating it within 10 minutes.

Do you recall the scene in Planes, Trains, and Automobiles were John Candy slept in the freezing car while Steve Martin stayed inside?

Might as well been 30 years ago. This ain’t the same game today. Dabo is painfully behind the times with NIL and the portal. He would be the 2024 version of Dubose
