Deboer has moved from like -200(or more) to +115(still a slight favorite) so no one knows anything.

Starting to suspect it may be Sark. If he's getting a contract extension, UT could have been putting either a huge buyout, or a non compete clause in it. If Sark was Saban's chosen successor, Saban may have pushed his retirement ahead to get him now. Just a theory.

It's an absolutely fast turnaround. One that I don't think could happen almost at any other school. And the portal combined with school starting makes that kind of speed important. But thank God we're in a position to make it happen. There's no reason to wait except if we knew wanted and could get someone like Demeco.

He definitely left in a shitty way. And I'm not sure if the rumors are true. But it's Joey frickin' Freshwater, and the jokes are too damn funny not to make.
I was very anti Kiffin. But he has grown on me over the last few years. I wouldn't sharpen my pitchfork if he was our backup hire. I just think we can hire someone who'd be better.
But I've got a damn pitchfork and torch that's handy.

I think Sark is in this. It all comes down to is he willing to leave Texas and did Saban ask him to come. But I think the 3 I listed are all possible.

I'm assuming Sexton is still waddling around the athletic complex. Maybe he left though. He could have just been there to handle Saban's new contract, but I think it was to hammer out all the details for the new coach.
