Sark told Saban too keep Milwee but no what does he do try too go get somebody who is proven and that BACKFIRED HORRIBLY.

Yes, he got a proven OC who hadn't coached on the college level in a long time, and BoB made him look bad. However, Brian DaBoll was much the same, and turned out fine. Maybe Milwee is the answer, and now there's a years worth of job experience to judge him on.

The people who are really connected with the organization knew just how valuable AJ Milwee was.

Dude knows what he's doing so we should give him an opportunity shoot we can't be no worser than this season.

The amount of kids today, good lord it’s out of control. No way they all get a spot.

Wow, Justin Flowe in the portal. 5* LB from the 2020 class (currently at Oregon).

If memory serves Bama recruited him pretty heavily.

Another non Bama note, Clemson QB DJ Uiagalelei is in the portal, guess he saw the writing on the wall with the way Cade played the other night.

Calzada is as well. At least he'll always have that game against Bama

Boz, how long do players have to get into the portal without penalty?

To limit the uncertainty around scholarship numbers and streamline the process for players, the Division I Council approved in August new transfer window dates for when players can enter the portal. Instead of being able to leave a school at any time, players now have to enter the portal within set dates. The first window opens the day after the championship teams are selected, which will be Dec. 5, and closes 45 days later on Jan. 18, 2023. There is also a 15-day spring period from May 1-15.

Saw where a tackle from Kentucky, John Young, went into the portal. He was a 4 star. I wonder if Wolford would want him?

Thank you.

Looks like A&M, Vanderbilt and Arkansas are leading with the number of players in the portal so far with around 10-11 each. Georgia has zero so far. For the SEC anyway.

I don't think you would see any from them until after the playoffs.

I see that Clemson has a couple of highly-rated (when they were in HS) defenders enter the portal today including Vonta Bentley from BHAM.

DeAndre McCray of Austin Peay is in the portal, he had a good game against us (12 catches for 92 yds) Seems to be a good little receiver.

I have to admit, I never saw him play, but the top receiver for Missouri is in the portal too.
