He also started out with a literal neo-Nazi username but they just changed it and let him stay. Someone explain that shite to me.

He's very clearly a racist pos. He needs to be banned.

They're going to do everything they can to give it to Smith and it's gonna be a joke. His numbers are down with a new qb and in my opinion no wr deserves the Heisman until they top Slim Reapers stats in 2020. They few times I tune into an Ohio St game they force feed him down around the goal line like Michigan did with Desmond Howard to pad his stats.

They’re not giving the Heisman to Jeremiah Smith. He’s played 2 p4 teams and 2 g5 teams. Hes averaging 60 yards per game against p4 and 2 1/2 times that against g5. No one with a brain thinks he deserves it.

Maybe maybe not but if we had played him before he was ready he may not be the same guy we have today.

Bryce Young was a soft spoken guy with a squeaky voice. He never fired anyone up. He never won a natty. He missed the playoffs.

He started the gay standing in the tunnel and giving everyone a five thing that Milroe copied. I for one am glad we have a QB that we can actually win a natty with again.

You should go back to your 4chan incel dungeon if you’re just going to post dogshit takes like this.

Mateer was probably the only player I'd actually watched this year that I thought had Heisman potential but then he broke his hand and that basically killed that campaign before they even got the engine cranked.

Smith is a dude no matter who he has played against.

Except the people who've got him 3rd in the running right now. He's more than likely gonna be the only one on that list who's on an undefeated team. Didn't say it was right or he deserves it, just said he's going to be shoved in the faces of Heisman voters.

He played well against FSU. WR and TE drops/falls were the problem in that game.

He was late getting the ball out. He’s gotten better since.

Ty wasn’t great against FSU. Which is totally fine. It was his first start on the road against a Top 15 team while missing RB1, our all-world guard, and our Top 3 receivers left the game at one point or another

I’m getting downvoted because there are tender fee fees on this forum.

Yes he was slow going through progressions and getting the ball out late. The DBs had time to react to the ball and nail the receiver as the ball arrived.
He still has his moments where the throw was late Saturday night and particularly the 2nd half. The throw to Horton on 3rd down comes to mind. The CB had time to turn and get his hand on the ball. Plus it was thrown with no touch- high and fast. Overall, he’s greatly improved and he’s a great field general.

I knew he was a solid quarterback, but I did mention earlier in the season that I thought we should play the freshman based off of his upside. I felt like the offense had too many holes for a game manager type to consistently win this season. I was wrong. He’s not just a game manager, he’s a dang quarterback. I still think this freshman might have a slightly higher upside, but he wouldn’t be able to pull off the kind of performance we saw Saturday night. Not this season at least
