I was at the game and it felt like Noah missed at least a dozen 3s.

After the 20-32 start, we were 2-18. Ooof

When Allen scores 20 this weekend, he will be the national player of the week.

Tennessee doesn't play the same way State does. It's like playing a triple option team and then saying you should be good against an air raid team the next week.

This year Bama averages 93 point per game and goes 12/35 from 3. In the last 5 losses to Tennessee Bama is averaging 70 points per game and going 8/27 from 3. Tennessee doesn't let Bama play the way we play against MSU. It's always a dog fight. It's rugby on hardwood.

Every single game v. Tennessee has been winnable but we have not made shots down the stretch and they've either held on for dear life or slipped by us on the FT line or a shot or two in crunch time.

I think the reason Philon didn't play is they want Biz and him fresh for the under 5 where we've faltered in the past.

I can always be wrong but I'd bet on Tennessee scoring in the mid-to-high 70s, if we score in the low-to-mid 80s then we win.

They won by 25. There were many positives. Try a glass half full approach to the game and to life.

Tenn is going to not help from the guard position on our drives. They will have 1 big thats assigned to being the rim protector, everyone else sticks with their man. IF the refs allow two hand checking that makes it impossible to blow by your man on the drive, the game will be very difficult. If fouls are called on two hand checks, we either shoot a ton of free throws or they quit fouling and we get a ton of shots at the rim. I do not expect 20+ 3 point attempts this weekend.

maybe 2.5? recency bias of how we played last night might cause it to be lower than it should be.

Just the facts. Since I did not watch the game all I can gleam is the stat sheet. Even Oats mentioned the bad second half.

As much as I hate to credit them... do you remember the last time we broke the 80 mark against UT? Long time ago.

They have basically dictated pace of play against us and made us play their game.

That said, I also think we win if we break 80 and I like the way we are playing.

We’re usually on pace to get to 80 almost every game but have an under-10 or under-5 offensive morass that kills us.

Wife was not compelled by the “it’s okay to look but not touch” argument either, huh?
