Bama was playing great defense and being unselfish on offense without turning it over. This team cannot lose when they play like this, they can beat the brakes off AU in their gym if they play like this.

Really glad to hear Oats is listening to the players about fresh legs. That was always something in late Feb and early March that seemed to plague us, particularly in 3 point shooting %

Late in the half the announcers explained why. Coach asked some of the players what would help the team play better and they told him REST. And he listened. Hopefully it has FINALLY!!!!!! Gotten through to him. If so, this is going to be the norm for this team.

We’re a veteran heavy team so, in theory, they should know what to do and we can let them rest a bit.
At the same time, we’re a fairly deep team and no one but Sears plays a crazy amount of minutes. Either way though we are entering the time of year where there really won’t be a ton of practice anyway.

I noticed that last game. It was the change we made half way through the first half. Seems like we are playing closer to straight man and going over screens. Some switches, but not required switching.
