They dont practice kicking either... Yet he tried that

Back in the day, another player would've disciplined Milroe for that pathetic attempt of stopping a touchdown. But now everybody is "boys" and won't tell you to your face when you effed up.

That's the moment I hopped off the Milroe bus. Cowardly.

And herein lies the problem. Jalen got on Prentiss for not blocking on his first INT. Next series, Milroe throws bad INT and does an Ole' Kick trying to trip the the guy instead of making the tackle or at least shoving him out of bounds. Zero effort. Even studder stepped to throw that wicked trip move. Yet, no coach got all over Milroe for the pick or the lack of effort, no player got in his face, nothing. And when watching film, it wasn't part of their cuts. Why? Didn't want to have to say something to Milroe??? Didn't want to call him out? The guy gave no effort and they don't care. That tells you that there is a major issue on this team.

Milre is a coward and out for himself. That single play defines him, to me. Lost all respect for him right then.

Glad I’m not the only one who thinks this.

And I've been more affected by the Milroe-Maneuver* than I'd care to admit. I don't know how anyone would want him playing for them now.
* PS - It eclipsed last years' Iron Bowl stupidity of him crossing the line of scrimmage, only to go backward to pass... After starting one full season and a couple of games the year before. Lank indeed.

QBs don’t practice tackling.
I remember seeing plays of Andrew Luck absolutely leveling a defender hard enough to force a fumble. Or FORTY year old Drew Brees hitting a defender to get out of bounds. Or even a concussion prone Tua, coming off of IR, slamming into a player. Even Bryce who weighs around 30-40 pounds less would not give up.
Milroe looks absolutely pathetic by comparison. But for some reason dumbasses like you continue to ride for him

And if anyone would like to see the pattern, just look at the first INT at Vandy. Milroe could have made an effort and went through a Vandy player and knocked the guy out of bounds, and he had an angle. However, he continued along his path and ran through the endzone. I think one of the Palmer brothers talked about it. Selfish, about himself.

You have to practice tackling to run full speed and push someone??

I am surprised the former players didn't weigh in on the play.

Jake Coker grilled him pretty good on the Cover Crimson network on You Tube. But it is strange how the vocal guys like Marquis Maze haven’t chimed in about the play. I’m glad that Charlie Potter of BOL had the guts to ask Sheridan and DeBoer about it.

I'm fine with Milroe protecting himself here. The season is over of Milroe goes down.

I don't blame him for not trying to go Bobby Boucher into the runner to try and knock him out at the 1 yard line. He is a QB, no a LBer.
quote:
Sure, a bit of a poor effort, but I'm not going to get too angry about our QB not going all out to make a tackle
quote:
So Jalen may have gotten to him at the pylon, but the very best you could have hoped for is for him to hit the guy at about the 3 yard line. Best case.

I don’t like Jordan Rodgers. You can tell that he doesn’t care too much for Alabama. Always picks against us in big games. Not a fan of his. Looks like a douche on top of that.
quote:
Milroe had no business going after a db. No our season may not be done but it would absolutely take a massive hit losing him. Can’t have the QB getting hurt chasing down a DB.
quote:
If he ran full speed and gets injured our season is basically over.
And here we are. Our season is over.

Neat. It’s an indictment of just how egregiously pathetic Milroe’s effort was.

It’s mind boggling how anyone could defend him at this point. Only ones doing it are idiots and trolls. But, on the bright side, we only have to see him one more time in crimson.

The opinions here crossed my mind watching the play live. He definitely does not embrace the physical side of the game. If you don't like contact you should not play football. The only great player I know that did not like contact was Prime Time.
