Anyone know if they have lost any starters to the portal or have any opt-outs for the bowl game?

The primary conversation about them is their backup QB going in the portal

Their 2 best players declared for the draft and won’t play in the bowl game. Their TE who is also by far their leading receiver won’t play. 1 out of their 3 QBs is in the portal and is also the only running QB on the team

At this rate we may not have a team to play them. LOL. I kid, I kid.

Let's remember, Oklahoma had nine thousand receivers out and still whooped our arse.

Don't need many receivers for 68 yds receiving.

Maybe our coaches should have made a gameplan that attacked the line of scrimmage so we could force them to rely on throwing instead of leaving three down linemen with a light box and no help to seal the edges?

Sure but their defense was fine for the most part. Michigan has a decent defense but missing their two future top 10 picks is going to hurt bad

Losing their running QB is probably going to force them to play a more pro style attack not the veer option Vandy, USC, and OU ran

You understand my point though. People mounting confidence because the opposition is missing starters is kind of futile.

Michigan won't have their stud RB, Donovan Edwards, either, he's opted out.

Their offense didn't need much production.

They really didn't need any production. Not hyperbole to say that with the way the game went, they could have posted zero yards and still won.

Given that their defense outscored our offense, this is probably true.

Yep. Our defense only really gave up 10 points. I'm not holding a touchdown on a drive that started on the 14 yard line against them.

The offense should have been easily capable of scoring more than 10 points. Unfortunately, the player running our offense on the field wasn't capable of much of anything.

Why is this getting downvoted?

Even when they completed some of the nice completions over the middle(not many) it looked sketchy. Like there was no way they could consistently do it all game.

Alabama a decade ago would have turned that offense into a complete joke by just obliterating the OL. Didn’t even need sacks or pressure probably. If we went after that QB there is no fricking way they would have done anything productive on offense.

Instead, fml it was bad

Vandy loss - almost all of that is on the defense. Offense scored 35 points.
Tennessee (derp) loss - almost all of that is on the offense. Defense got 3 turnovers and shut them down for a half.
Oklahoma loss - maybe 60-40 offense/defense. Maybe closer to 70/30.

That LSU loss haunted me until my alarm clock went off. Once I woke up I remembered that we whipped their arse on their home field.

95% Milroe and the OL playing like complete dogshit

It was SO bad, while we controlled our season, that I have to put as much as humanly possible on the coaches here. Put the rest Milroe and the OL.

I’m significantly more annoyed by the OL these last 2 years than I am any other single player or coach.

I think it all starts and stops there.
