I wonder how the conversation with Bowen goes. Does he know he's not coming back early on? Was it a surprise? Did he ask for more money and get turned down?

If @mistaken4193 wants to start up a 2026-27 season recruiting/roster thread, I’m good with that too. I was primarily thinking about portal season when I cranked this one up and have no qualm with it being deleted.

That sucks. Starters on good teams transferring every year is dumb. I understand backups moving around but seeing all these guys who already were in great spots dip out makes loving college hard.

Agreed. I don't begrudge a dude getting 10 minutes a night off the bench looking for more playing time, but starters on good teams bailing like this is 100% about money and it's destroying the sport.

Just makes you appreciate the guys like Amari Allen and Philon who are completely bought in to the program. I view certain guys as our guys and the rest like role players we surround our franchise guys with.

It’s a pretty long list of guys who transferred away from us and turned into pumpkins.
Bradley obviously is the only one that became a big star and he had some extenuating circumstances with his transfers. Other than him I guess Namari Burnett has been as good for Michigan as he was for us. But no one we’ve ever missed besides Bradley.

Trying to keep him but at what price does it become worth it when you have to fill out the rest of the roster
