Allow me to shill for them for just a moment....

Greg and Cole have had a great segment I believe you would all enjoy... I certainly did. It will repeat tonight on WJOX or I'd encourage you to listen to a podcast, if you can.

Greg acted like an OC with the other personalities helping, speaking as position groups.

Just a few things I can remember...

Greg - Two tight-ends, two backs... make the opposition come over the top. Force the tight ends to delay all defensive ends and OLB's ... hitting them off the line.

Cole - For all of the touted strength of the OL... [e.g. Bench pressing 500 lbs for reps]... stop trying to win the matchup with your upper body. spend the next few weeks working side-to-side, using your mass to help create blockage up front.

Greg - Hates screens but this team must start using them or dig routes over the middle. Best QB to handle this plays. He liked Ty's game, feeling he made some good plays Saturday. Doesn't mean that Ty should be the starter. He wants to see how Jalen responds [noting that Jalen didn't respond well to opening QB competition back up last week].

They went into detail with personnel changes, matchups, etc.

Greg said this is where a coach earns his pay... "coaching all-stars is not a challenge or fun. Fixing issues like these are:

They make some great points, but I don’t have the confidence in this coaching staff to make any significant changes. I can’t believe I’m saying that about a coaching staff led by Nick Saban.

The team is limited in the types of screens it can run because the offensive line is too slow.

McElroy said that Jalen Milroe did not handle having to share reps with Simpson & Buchner last week. That’s why he didn’t play. When you saw Milroe congratulating them on TV vs USF, McElroy said that’s not how it went down in practice last week.

Well I'm not bothered too much if he was disappointed and had to get through that mentally. If he snapped out of it and changed his demeanor and got on board, which we saw him pumping Simpson up after the TD drive, then he's fine.

I was going to mention this is the post about Reese !.
I just could not understand how a guy who was known for featuring 2 TE's was not using it to help his o-line
and force Texas to not be able to drop 7.

Yes Understanding Texas has a good front.
But with double TE's sets it would have allowed a good run game and also help the o-line to provide some Max pass protect for your inexperience Qb's.That combined with a few shots of Bonds and Benson getting over the top would open the TE routes underneath with 84 on the single TE releasing on some play action.
