I think it's relatively close for the 1st half, but LSU's offense proves to be too much in the 2nd half.

Going into the playoffs I thought LSU was unstoppable. It was their trophy to win. It may still be. But for over 2 weeks now, all I’ve heard from most of the talking heads and everyone else Is how the 29-0 defending National Champions that beat our arse like nobody’s business has no prayer in this game. That’s right in Dabo’s wheelhouse and Clemson is for real. I’m calling the upset

Clemson 38
LSU 35

Close game. I'd take the points and Clemson if I were betting.

38-35 type game

Neither team has a good front 4.

OSU slowed Clemson down by getting pressure with their front 4 and because both Higgins and Ross dealt with injuries.

Clemson's offense is as good as Bama's was, better than Georgia, Auburn or Oklahoma.

Clemson and LSU have very similar D's. There's some talent on the back end but there's weaknesses to expose. I think both teams will move the ball down the field pretty easily. I think Venebles will have a better game plan than LSU, but LSU will have more talent.

It should be a shootout, come down to turnovers and since they've been in this spot before I'll go Clemson 46 - LSU 41

I don't believe that. And, I think LSU's defense is very underrated especially as LSU's defense is now. Higgins and Ross dealt with injuries because of the physical way OSU played them. LSU will play them similarly and LSU can play them that way because they have the talent. I think LSU's DL is very sound and they play well together. I don't think Clemson's offense is on the same level as ours or LSU's.

I'd argue that Clemson's offense is capable of being as good as ours or LSUs. They have all of the right tools. They showed last year that they can turn it on pretty easily.

There were numerous games in 2018 where Clemson struggled against much more inferior defenses than 2018 Bama's, but when it mattered, they turned it on against us, and they were unstoppable. IDK, we'll see.

Both offenses are capable of putting up points. I think the key of the game could again be Clemson's red zone defense. If they can do what they did to us last year, and what they did to Ohio State a few weeks ago, their chances improve drastically.

Another key will be whether Chiasson(sp?) can get to Lawrence and get him down. Lawrence is a lot like Burrow in his escapability.

I think LSU wins. Not pulling for Clemson to win, but I am hoping LSU loses, because it will be so much fun.

I’m cheering for the refs. Hope one of their blunders causes one of the teams to lose

45-31 LSU

I've thought long and hard about who to root for as these are my two least favorite teams... Sadly I will be rooting for LSU.

As much as I can't stand them, I don't want to spend the entire off season and the first 13 games of next season hearing about how Trevor Lawrence is about to go undefeated for 3 straight years. I just can't.

The meltdown if LSU lost because of a controversial call would be pure joygasm. :)

It would, but the crying from Dabo would be equally enjoyable if Clemson were to lose over a controversial call.
