Looks like we got ourselves a veteran TE.

Carl Tucker.
38 games, 36 catches, 549 yards, 4 TDs for the Tarheels.
6th year of eligibility...making him, what, 23 years old?
Maybe he'll be another Holla McGee, but I'd settle for Richard Mullaney.

Ironically, he is our 2nd player on the team from the high school class of 2015 along with Josh McMillon.
These guys were in the same high school class as Minkah/Payne/Ridley/Harrison, who will be playing their 3rd season as pros while these guys wrap up their college careers.

may be a silly question, but why does Bama need another TE?
I like Tennison and Billingsley, so anyone help me out as to why Bama\saban needs or wants a TE.

Our TE room has not had the necessary body types and talent level recently (2019 and 2020) to get all the jobs done. Tucker's presence will go a long way toward remedying that.

How many career catches do they have between them?
I like 15 YPC better than 10.

when you have to put a te jersey on an olineman to get the extra blocking you need at times. this is why you go get a carl tucker.

Not to mention the fact that he'll be more of a threat in the passing game.

Collin Peek. You never know how an experienced guy can come in and change the look of an offense. How senior leadership can pay multiple dividends on the practice field and locker room as well. Collin Peek was a dangerous mismatch for our 2009 national championship run. He made a lot of key plays for us that season, including the SECCG vs Florida. I would take those players all day.

He also had a big TD catch and run at Auburn.

I love these transfers because it means they’re going to start instantly.
This guy is going to be a big help, or else he wouldn’t be coming
