Robot wrote “and” instead of “an”. You should probably cite him too.

He was the head coach of the Raiders, and after getting fired, changed his name to Kiffin hoping no one would notice.

This would by funny, but how can you police the issue? Refs can't even figure out PI and targeting, so how can we expect them to decide when and injury is and is not legitimate?
IDK. But it is annoying and adding so many unnecessary minutes to the game lengths.
Nothing has to be done about it. But if player safety is truly a concern, how can a legtimately injured player be examined, tested and recertified to re-enter on the next play, usually within 45 seconds or less?
I’m in favor of injured players sitting out two plays or more. And a multiple injured (timeout recipient) player sitting out even longer.

I thought he changed it to Freshwater?
I am SO confused now!

I don't get why people want Kiffin to follow Saban. His teams always drop games they shouldn't. He's never even had a regular season with fewer than two losses.

They worry about players hiding injuries with this, but I’m with you, make them stay out longer and it would stop some cheating.
Who monitors it though? The reserve ref? What happens if you cheat and send a player in before his time is up?

Referee announces “injury timeout for #11. It is #11’s first (2nd, third?) injury timeout.”
It’d be easy to track by the game statisticians. Or game officials same way they track USC.
Player renters early? Illegal participation. Sit out restarts or increases.

Saban cusses everyone associated with Bama football sooner or later and spanked his own player on national TV after one of those public arse chewings.
Our coach would not be above sharing some colorful language if an opposing player walked by him on the field and piped off toward him about being on the field
Kiffin is who he's always been. I honestly think it's refreshing to have coaches be real. Too many two faced politicians out there walking the sidelines and speaking out of both sides of their mouths.
His Joker costume comment post game was hilarious

“Yeah, I don’t give you coach-speak, so yeah, that’s real,” responded Kiffin, asked if the war of words pushed Ole Miss toward success. “Someone attacks you personally, calls you and your buddy Coach Saban both clowns, you take that personal. So, glad we won.”
I genuinely think he loves Saban, even if he does enjoy picking at him at times.

Lane Kiffin is my favorite coach not named Saban. He is the next generations Steve Spurrier.

Hell yeah brother I’m on the Lane train after The GOAT retires. He’d probably be the only decent coach that wouldn’t pee his pants coming in after Saban

That is the most correct statement I have read on this board in a long time.
I think that it will take someone like Kiffen (cocky) to try and come in and take over after the GOAT retires.

I bet Lane and his Rebs would take Dabo and his tigers out to the woodshed.
Lane is really the only choice we have left unless someone emerges from the nfl like Demeco Ryans
