He has taken a lot of heat by some retards on this board but he has our AD humming pretty well.
Glad we have him until 2030-31.

Signed Oats to an extension. Baseball is back on track. Softball just beat #1 Texas.
Ninja Byrne fricking you fools. You haters were crying, while Byrne was flying. Big dick energy now.

Tough crowd. Guess some people hate being nationally relevant in every sport that gets meaningful interest from the general public.

There’s no better Athletic Dept. in the country.

I ordered this shirt from ClassTrip last week. They have a college/university deal now so there are some Alabama/Dead stuff.
Interestingly I had been listening to the Tuscaloosa show on Relisten in my office for a few days before I saw this in an ad. May 1977 was such a great month.

If DeBoer wins a natty, GB deserves a statue

He'll get a statue after Oats wins it all this season

But you know as well as I do that the success of our athletic department depends on how the football team is doing. It has been great to see Alabama softball, baseball and basketball excel. But from a public perception standpoint, none of those moves the needle like football.
Kudos to Byrne for instilling near future stability in the football program by signing DeBoer to an extension. Now DeBoer has to prove it was the right move. No matter how many ways you try to justify it, losing four games per year isn't going to make the contract extension look like "the right move". Regardless of how we got to the four losses.

Let it play itself out. DeBoer will be out in 2 years tops if a championship of some sort isn’t on in Tuscaloosa.
Too soon we forget getting left behind Bear Bryant’s good boys like Perkins, Curry and Dubose. Alabama isn’t invincible. There was only a stretch of 7 years where you could say Alabama was truly elite amidst 35 years of mediocrity.
