Bo Davis had his DL primed for last night. Seth was getting his arse handed to him and he lost his composure.

Wish we had a DL coach that could get our guys up to speed. We're so damn average in that area. Nobody can one on one whip the guy in front of them and disrupt the offense.

It really is astonishing how lacking our DL play has been for the last 3 years

Bo Davis unit was able to do what they did because they know Milroe is a two trick pony. Deep ball and running. Get a damn grip. None of us know what Texas will become or what we will be. It's too early to tell.

21 points is what milroe's ball placement cost bama. he literally tackled his own rb, that would have walked into the endzone, with bad ball placement. bond was behind everybody but had to turn 180 degrees just to catch a badly placed ball. he just missed the rb completely on the wheel route. then theres all the adjustments wr's made just to catch other passes.

sadly, milroe is not a good passer of the ball. however, with how the ol was playing, his legs may have been the best option. but then theres that pocket presence thing, smh...

This should scare Julian Sayin in other recruits.

I am an unbiased outsider but I think this would strengthen Sayin's resolve. He sees a team with studs everywhere but QB and he can step in and right the ship.

Yeah I think that’s correct. He would think he can take the reins.

Maybe but he could also see Simpson still on the bench and start to question QB development considering Milroe has been in the program for 3 years and this is what you get with another top signee still riding the pine.

This loss is not as bad as how we lost the game. That is where Alabama will be questioned by recruits and the media. It is one thing to drop a game to top team but in the manner we did, question a lot about the program especially after last eseason.

This might be a little over reaction. I don’t think recruits are questioning anything after one loss. Recruits don’t sign with a school based on the outcome of a game especially Bama’s track record of draft picks …

Was not implying over a loss but the state of the program starting with last season. Saban has been able to keep recruiting near the top because the program continues year in and year out to be a contender. Yes, last year we had a shot in the end to get to the playoffs but our lack of dominating performances with a few losses kept us out and now this season is being questioned by many outside the program and fans who support the program to be on the same trajectory.

Recruits are going to notice if the Alabama reign in CFB is on the down slide. To believe they are not, and it is not being used against us would be just foolish.

Some of the things Milroe was doing probably can’t be fixed and not right now. Unfortunately. So it up to the coaches to stick with him or bring in someone else.

You don't learn how to read defenses and place the ball accurately on short passes during the season. Milroe will be this guy all year. Sometimes he'll look good like he did against MTSU, sometimes he'll look like he did against Texas, but he's not going to learn those skills this season, at least not to a degree that makes him competent.

Yeah that’s why these things can’t be fixed not now anyway. I think a change is the only way to move forward.

Everyone keeps saying "read defense" and he cant learn to do that. Guys, he isn't reading defense's incorrectly. He isn't reading them at all! He is looking at one receiver and throwing it to him. If that guy is open-ish he throws it near that receiver. If the guy isn't open he takes off or runs directly into pressure for a sack. re-watch the second half pick, he went through exactly zero progressions, and if you didn't know better, you'd think that he threw it to the Texas DB on purpose.

On my rewatch Kirk circled the safety with a yellow pen and said watch this. The safety moved all the way over where Milroe was looking, he never saw him. Let the ball go and the safety took one step and it hit him in the chest.

He has had plenty of time to fix his issues. I was just referring to some who question why recruits ( Especially QBs ) would question their commitment . If Sayin or any QB doesn’t sign , it won’t be bc Milroe looked like shite against UT. We have 4 starting QBs in the NFL and the No. 1 overall pick in last years draft at QB. We will be fine. Just got to take our lumps right now

At A-day, Ty threw the pick around the one and Jalen was backed up in the endzone right in front of me. I had roughly the same view as if I was playing madden; he snaps the ball and turns his head one way. I immediately said oh no, he proceeds to throw the ball directly at the defense. My seven year old nephew looks at me and says, in all seriousness, "Do you think he forgot what color team he was on?" those throws were eerily similar. They routes weren't the same, but the distance and the staring down the receiver looked identical.

That staff meeting yesterday had to be really interesting.

JMO but I think as the weeks move forward it become clear that UT isn't the elite they're saluting today.

It takes at least 4 games to better understand the contenders and the pretenders.

Bama can look no further to one practice session at a time.

That'll make the loss to them even worse IMO.

Why? Saban didn't yell at anyone or ask for answers. He didn't demand accountability. That's the old Saban.
