“But mah 5 stars!!!”

DeBoer did NOT have the keys to a Lamborghini tossed in his lap.

Saban did miracles, freaking miracles, last year.

I don’t disagree with you an iota, but again this guy has apparently decided that he can’t win with anyone else on the roster at QB and he’s not going to act like a fan and play someone just to do something different.

My .02, I think Simpson moves on because I don’t think DeBoer thinks he can play.

Les Miles was able to win a national championship with Saban's players.

Les Miles won a national championship in his THIRD season with a mixture of players he and Saban recruited to Baton Rouge. Even then it took a lot of wild and wacky shite for LSU to even get into the national championship game that year as they finished the regular season with two losses.

Kalen DeBoer is a relatively new coach to P4 football, is installing a brand new system, and is working with a roster that lost 29 players to transfer from a year ago. I had us going 10-2 or 9-3 this season. While I'm disappointed at who we lost to, we are still on track to finish right around where I thought we would.

Everything can be put right if we beat Auburn next weekend.

Missouri beat Vanderbilt and crushed Oklahoma. We crushed Missouri and lost to both. None of this shite makes any sense.

I still just don’t think DeBoer “gets it” about the SEC.

If he hasn’t gotten it by now, I just don’t know … it ought to be burned into his brain.

I am not worried at all about the offense going forward . KDB came into a tough situation at an awful time of year . He is playing the hand he was dealt this year. The offense is not what he wants to run

If we keep on losing to 6-6/7-5 caliber teams on the road, DeBoer will get fired after the third year of that happening assuming it means no playoffs like it does this year. At programs like Alabama, a coach is getting 3-4 years to make the playoffs or they’re toast. With a 12-team playoff that is the goal of any program in the top end of the power conferences now.

Oh so if the coach we hired doesnt win, we are gonna fire him...no shite, Sidewalk Sherlock.

I guess the toddler tantrum crew is back to scream and holler because their ego was hurt by the team losing

We will know after the game next week. If Ty sticks, then you know he had a deal to stick with them thru this clusterfeck year.

Look you dumb bitch, you acted like I was being ridiculous for saying he was trending towards being terminated in 2026. I showed my reasoning. You respond with personal attacks trying to gas up how you're the smartest mfer in the room for some reason. Suck a tailpipe, bitch.

Im not the smartest guy in the room...but I am smarter than you

You are talking about a trajectory...this season is the first plotted point. There is no trajectory yet until we see season #2. We dont see practice. For all we know losing to OU and Vandy are what this talent level is and Deboer has exceeded expectations by beating 4 ranked teams. I dont see any great players on the field besides #2. I definitely see some potential amongst the young players

Not just last year, but 2021 and 2022 as well.

One of the most remarkable things about Saban is that he never had a true rebuild season. 2010 is about as close as he got.

If anyone being really honest about the state of program has to admit that there have been major cracks since 2020. Bryce Young covered a lot of flaws. And Milroe had a miracle at Auburn. We were very fortunate not to lose to TAMU and Arkansas last year. Hell, if Tenn had a qb last year, we probably lose that game as well. That would have been 3-4 losses.

2010 was perhaps one of the most talented rosters in the history of college football. That was an odd year.

By my math we have two bed shitting losses to 6-6/7-5 teams on the plot.

It’d be funny as hell if a decade from now we look back at the DeBoer era and he squandered a few seasons due to head scratching losses but he owned Auburn in a way Saban even couldn’t. Life is stranger than fiction sometimes.

All I know is that if he loses to this mediocre Auburn team at home, it’s going to get toxic for him quick. He damn sure better hope he can press the right buttons with this team because it’s going to be a long, negative offseason otherwise.
