That one loss deserves a huge asterisk

Hopefully Kane has finally figured out how to stop a mobile QB as this is the least confident I've felt playing UGA since the Williams/Metchie-less rematch.

I don't feel great about this game. DeBoer has shite the bed on the road against every decent team he's played since he got to Tuscaloosa with the only exception being LSU.

He literally beat UGA last year.

Which is basically another home game given how much Bama has dominated their asses at “Death Valley”

I mean fine but we’re working with a n of 1 when it comes to completed seasons.

I don’t think we were ill prepared at TN.

We just had a schematic limitation on defense against teams with a certain offensive attack and a QB who got figured out around mid season last year.

USCe almost beat us at home for the same reason.

If we go through season two with the same eggs laid on the road then I’ll grant that it’s an issue.

I just don’t think we’re as good as we were peak Saban and other teams are very competitive nationally.

If we had just serviceable QB play that day, we win pretty easily. Missed so many wide open plays, and our defense kept them in check for the majority of the game.

Same. I think we can win, but I'm not really expecting to win... which feels weird. I always expected to win with Saban.

I hope they can come out and prove all of the doubters wrong. I was starting to feel a little confident after the past 2 games, but apparently Wisconsin is terrible, and Maryland looked just as good against them.

That was collectively the worst QB play I've ever seen in a football game. Nico managed to get marginally better in the second half, but it was still ugly.

If we got anything other than one of the worst 3 QB performances we've had in 25 years, we win fairly easily.

NIL and the portal have spread everyone's rosters pretty thin. It's almost impossible to develop and keep depth. It's made for almost every team to have specific units that are thin on talent.

Except are a couple of miracle games our offense sucked last year. I don't think our offense is as bad as last year. If Simpson gets time he should be fine. I thought we would have a good defense this year, but not the case to date. Hope for improvement. The defense needs to put more pressure on the line of scrimmage.
