I wouldn’t be surprised if Alabama doesn’t have a better WR than him on the team already

Holden and Hall are going to be pretty damn sporty. Metchie is definitely good and incredibly reliable.

Hall looks next level. His frame is huge and he just seems to have that IT factor.

Yeah I didn’t mean any disrespect toward Metchie.

Just that when you have THIS many absolutely elite WR prospects come in it wouldn’t surprise me if one of them has the ability to be better than Metchie pretty quickly.

ETA: That said, I’m not banking on it or wouldn’t be disappointed in them if they aren’t on his level in year 1. I know it’s a tall ask and everyone develops at a different pace.

I'm very excited to see what Jameson Williams can do. Holden could be a break out player, too. I am interested to see how the running backs are incorporated into the passing game. Najee was so great as a receiver and it will be fun to watch which new guy can be a good pass catcher.

He is very good and a probably first round pick but I dont think he is in the same tier as Smith, Jeudy, Ruggs, or Waddle. I think Hall will be our leading WR this year.

I personally don’t like Holden or Baker or Bolden. Metchie is legit. Hall is possibly the best WR in the SEC right now - and idgaf what reservations you have about freshmen - Hall is a fricking beast, and has a ton of swagger. Julio was the best WR in the conference as a Freshman.
I’m curious about Jacorey Brooks as well - he was our top rated WR recruit - haven’t heard about him yet.
And then Ive heard a lot about Leary and Earle potentially being great.

Jameson Williams is phenomenal. He’s a great transfer pickup.

The starting 3 SHOULD be
1. Metchie
2. Hall
3. Jameson

If that’s not it, then the coaches fricked up. Holden and Bolden are not good enough to start over the other guys we have - period.

Experience matters. Bolden can snatch the ball on third down on consistent basis. he did good job last year.

Then put Metchie at safety. He had the best tackle/hit of anybody on the team last year. Maybe the hit of the year in CFB.

I'll allow it. He's underrated.

WR is the one position where experience doesn’t really matter. It’s all about talent. Just because Bolden can “snatch the ball” doesn’t mean he should start over a guy who will be drafted third overall

If I could we’d have at least a couple more national titles

“Start Coker over Sims”
“Start Derrick Henry as a true freshman”
“Dont fire Lane Kiffin before the NCG”
“Put Damien Harris on the bench and leave him there”

He eventually figured this one out
“Start Tua over Hurts”
