A lot of people need to eat crow on this kid.
He will never get drafted!
He will never play QB in the NFL!
Kid is a Saban clone. He will fight and outwork his peers.

I’m happy for Jalen but the Eagles already have Carson Wentz. He’ll be a solid backup though.

Happy for Jalen.
If I was an Eagles fan I would be pissed we used a 2nd round pick on Hurts though.

He never should have been the starting QB at Alabama.

Yea, that Blake Barnett dominated their freshmen year. And look at all he's accomplished at his 12 other schools since leaving Alabama.

Quite bizarre that Hurts is going to Philly, amazing really. I am really glad he made it into the first two rounds. Great for Jalen and I can't wait to see how the coaches try to use him given the need.

Jalen's got a very determined demeanor. I also don't expect him to blow his opportunity on booze and women,etc. I expect him to maximize all of his talents, both in athleticism and smarts. I'm quite certain the Philly organization sees this in him as well, and that is why they took him.

Hurts and Tebow are almost identical in their skill sets. Great leadership qualities, Extremely tough and Durable, Powerful runner from direct snap and RPO.
The challenge for Hurts as it was for Tebow is reading and processing the coverages in the league. Patients allowing routes to develop,
More likely to void pocket than climb, scan and throw from it,
Leaves slants and crossers behind targets.
I see Hurts as a situational player to begin with. Short yardage 4th down, Goal line packages, etc. He has and tremendous opportunity in front of him. I hope the young man takes advantage and does well.

I'm happy for Jalen.No one can question his character or work ethic.
He's tough as nails too.He proved that as a Freshmen at Bama.Took a brutal sack against Ole Miss.Hopped right up.
