Is MARTA the best option for getting to M-B stadium?

Traveling from B'ham, is it best to take MARTA to Mercedes-Benz stadium?
If so, which station?
In not, what is a better alternative?
Roll Tide and many thanks!

Not sure on the station, but it's a decent option. Parking passes can still be had from the chick-fil-a kickoff website. That's what my crew is doing. I figure traffic won't be that bad after.

Yes it is and park at the Hamilton E Holmes MARTA station and go in from there.

I always stay in Douglasville and would hit the Hamilton Holmes Exit and catch the MARTA there. Had good luck doing that.
If you did stay in Douglasville, there is a Cajun Restaurant called Gumbeaux's that is legit. Some transplanted coon-asses opened it, and they know what they are doing.

That is Exit 52 off of I-20E. Safe travels

What time would the parking be full at Hamilton, if ever?

I bet by 1-2 hours before kickoff. With us playing DUKE, I don't think it would be an issue.
Getting there early is the best thing to do.

MARTA is a great option, and the Hamilton-Holmes stop is the way to go. With the influx of roughly ~1M coming in the past 4 years, I've taken MARTA to work sometimes, because driving 5 minutes to the station and going from there is faster.
For Saturday in specific -- I don't think anyone here would have a problem just driving in and parking. I always recommend coming in through the capital gateway off 20 and parking down by the arena.

I've taken MARTA to every event downtown in the last decade, but I'm on the Brookhaven/Buckhead side.

I'm coming in from Alabama on 85 and plan to park at the College Park MARTA. They have over 2K free parking spots. It is about as far away from downtown you can park and not get mixed in with that traffic.

Whoo Hoo! My son just informed me that he bought me tickets to the Duke game. We are coming from Tallahassee, Florida.
My last game in Atlanta was for the SEC Championship against Florida a couple of years back in the old stadium. I think we parked in the "gulch".
I, too, am looking at parking options. I don't typically ride public transportation (other than when I visited Europe a couple years back). Is catching (and paying for the MARTA) pretty simple? I want to be able to park, catch the right bus to the stadium and then, more importantly, catch the right bus from the stadium to find where I parked my car. I

It's pretty simple. It's a "train", not a bus. The parking lots are directly adjacent to the terminals for the most part. You pay for a ticket much like you do at a paid parking garage. Hop on the train. Have some whiskey. Get off at "GWCC/CNN Center Station" (I think) and take the escalator up to the stadium.
ETA: If you're coming from the south line, you might have to hop on a different train at Five Points. George could probably give you better directions, as I moved away a while back. Also, just go to there website for maps and directions MARTA

The State Farm Arena/MBS stop drops you off quite literally at the front door of the Arena. The arena is across the street, divided by Falcons landing. It would impossible to miss.

For getting there, yes.
Do NOT USE MARTA TO LEAVE GAME.
I’ve been stranded twice after games.

Better question, best food options near the stadium?

I'm looking at 134 Forsyth Street for $24. It is .3 miles away.

If you are that close MARTA will be fine.
After the 2017 National Championship, a train broke down and I didn’t get to bed till 5:30 AM
Pretty shitty night.
