Anfernee clearly has a sprain.
If they thought it was a tear, he’d have been in the tunnel...and he wouldn’t have been smiling on the bench.

I'm hoping he's ready. He was a game changer

That’s my main disappointment tonight. He played a great game. I hope he can go next week.

If someone would have been hurt on those last 3 offensive plays, I would have met Daboll at the airport and personaly beat his arse.

Hard to believe we didn't take a knee.

If Cotton is hurt please let Jedrick Wills play RG. Every time he came in tonight we ran the ball for good yardage.

Preliminary injury update: Lester Cotton is unlikely to play next Monday. Anfernee Jennings needs further evaluation.

Hate it for Cotton, but Willis is a upgrade.

Cotton did play his best game of the season tonight.

Saban just said Jennings has a sprained knee, his status is uncertain for the title game.

We Need Anfernee, fricking Dominate tonight. The pass rusher we have needed all year.

There’s a procedure called PRP (platelet rich plama) in which they take your own blood, spin it down to a platlet matrix, and inject that into the sprained tendon. (so I’m told by a Dr)

This will undoubtedly be used to help Jennings heal.

Your description of PRP is correct, however it won't be given as treatment for Jennings injury. He will receive treatment and therapy for it just not PRP. As long as the film says everything is structurally sound and intact, Jennings will be on the field Monday night. PRP while a simple procedure, is a pretty pricey one ($5oo) that insurance doesn't pay for.

Not a doctor, but work in the medical field. Username was just a thing that popped into my head when I signed up. I will say this, just trust me when it comes to injury talk.

$500 is all? Does the university take care of medical costs of injured players?

The kit is actually $800, but that still won’t be enough money to disuade the team docs if they think it helps get him back on the field sooner.
