I know chances are slim, but I like to hold on to hope until the last possible second.

Assuming TCU doesnt get blitzed this weekend, then them, UGA, and Michigan are a lock.

But I present to you our other hope.

Bama’s only slim chance, and it’s a reach I know, is if USC loses to Utah, then root for Purdue to upset Michigan.

I think that could shift Strength of Schedule enough that the committee would shift Bama in front of Ohio State.

I know it’s fricking silly logic, but I just dont see the committee putting two non-champion B1G teams in.

So as far as the playoff selection party…

Purdue will probably get the shite kicked out of them with a score similar to the Ohio State game.

Oh definitely. But hell, what if they dont? I just think it would be crazy if two non-champions from the same
Conference got in.

Why would there even be an assumption that you would leave? It's just one season.

Bama is lucky it didn't lose another few games.

It just was not in the cards this year.

I enjoyed much of the season, at times anyway. It will be ok. I think Bama comes back strong next year.

If TCU and USC lose I believe we are in. Some say TCU would still be in. However that’s not that likely. Although I truly think KSU and Utah have the teams to win I just don’t think they both can on the same day if you will. I’m completely fine with going to Sugarbowl though it’s a big venue and great if we win for the next season.

Exactly. People want to talk about TCU being deserving but that loss nullifies their overtime victory over KSU earlier this year and their next best victory is Texas (just like us).

We have had a significantly harder schedule as well. They have won just as ugly as we have against worse competition.

We just need a lot of help. Two big losses. One Friday and one Saturday afternoon.

Nothing wrong with believing till the end.

When I first read this, I thought you said "I like to hold on to the rope."

Too soon.
