I’m kind of hoping for a shootout Saturday.

Just so Tua gets to play th entire game. He could easily throw for 450 and 5 tds against Ole Miss. Then after this weekend we can go back to dominating on defense.

My Bama soul can't take teams scoring a lot of points against us. I want to win every game 100-0.

It would be nice if Tua eventually got to play 3 quarters in a game.

He could throw for that in 3 QTRs man. We're looking at records broken if he ever plays a full game against a team like Ole Miss. Yes, I'm drinking the Kool-aid but I actually believe it.

I hate it when the other team scores.

Seriously tho, while I understand the OP's desire to see exactly what the O could accomplish at full throttle for 4 quarters, I hate it when the other team scores. I take great pride in Bama having the #1 defense in Total Defense each year, and I really wanna see us make a run at the 2011 defense's 8.3 points per game. If we broke that Saban record, I'd be beside myself. So no, I never wish the other team to score (despite the fact that seeing 2 great teams go head to head, a la Clemson 2015 and Georgia 2012 means the other team is going to score. Great games to remember, tho).

I think the game offensively has evolved to the point (even in just seven years) where that record is going to be secure.

I normally get those numbers when they are guessing my age or telling me how many reps they did, or shots they made!! RTR

Pass. I would like Tua to play longer without the breakup to give Jalen time but I still much rather blow out Ole Miss out.

Tua stats don't need to be gaudy when he's insanely efficient.

I agree, which would make a run at the record a serious accomplishment. It could be done. Unfortunately, the 2s giving up TDs in blowouts messes it up.

That’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve seen on this board in a while and that’s saying something.

Yeah the 2016 defense had the best chance to beat that stat, but the offense hurt them too much to accomplish it.

Or perhaps more to the point: The rules of the game favoring the offense have evolved to the point where that record may be secure.
