Bingo. Get used to spoiled, entitled players. I agree it sucks. Money ruins everything and it has ruined the greatest sport in the world. I still watch but no longer follow recruiting like I once did nor do I get an emotional high on game day. I probably aged 10 yrs during the 2014 Iron Bowl and drank a boatload of beer as Bama and Auburn went back and forth until Bama finally pulled away late. I can't imagine ever getting into a game to that degree again.

Almost as bad as a selfish Ty Simpson dropping the ball before he crossed the goal last year or being disrespectful to the ref by not handing him the ball this year. One could have cost a TD, the other a 15 yard penalty. This attitude is likely at least part of the reason Ty does not have the full respect of his teammates.

This does not reflect the reality of expectations.
If CKD goes 6-6 every year with a bunch of saints and a 100% graduation rate, he will be fired.
If CKD goes 11-1 every year with players occasionally showing poor sportsmanship or showboating, he will not be fired.
You get what you tolerate. It’s ultimately the fans that allow people to make a ridiculous eight figure salary to lead an extracurricular activity and bring in students of questionable integrity and academic standing.
Don’t blame it on NIL. Don’t blame it on the portal. College athletes should have every right to cash in on the multibillion dollar entertainment behemoth that is CFB and move around for whatever reasons they believe suit their future. For the players, football is essentially a major just like mechanical engineering. And no one gives a shite if a mechanical engineering student transfers.
It’s the fans that warped the game.

I guess the dancing after touchdowns and celebrating after every play is just the new normal. I can't stand it... especially if we are behind. I feel it started when Jameson Williams transferred in and then Metchie started his crane kick. I've always disliked celebrations. Great if you're winning, I guess.

Yeah, I'm sure the no name mechanical engineering student who's struggling to pay rent, can barely afford Ramen, is on the verge of having his car repossessed and will be in debt for the next 30 years would agree he's exactly the same as that poor oppressed football player getting a free ride and now millions of dollars to boot.

Dude had 60 minutes to take out all that aggression and waited while guys ran into him and tried to drag them down. Where was that aggression and aggravation when we had opportunities to get a stop and possibly win the game? I have no problem celebrating in the end zone when you score, it’s essentially entertainment and that is part of the show. What Malachi did was pitch a toddlers tantrum. I like fire as much as the next fella, but where was that fire the first 58 and a half minutes?
