I don’t think they hold us under 40. I think our balance is deadly. And I see 50 as a possibility.

I don’t think their fans fully grasp how good Tua is and how devastating his effect can be. And I don’t think some of you fully get it yet either.

I do think they can score some. Perhaps 17. Best case 24.

I think 48-17 is a realistic score. Very worst case 38-24. Best case 56-13 or so. Could even get worse if they totally get demoralized and quit, which is a possibility given how emotional they are likely to start the game.

I just think we are too balanced and do everything well. I think even the best defensive teams collapse under that sort of pressure. You just can’t defend against every contengency... run, pass, short, long ... with every reciever in play.,. with every pass precision.

It’s just going to be a whole lot different this year. And the people expecting the typical LSU Bama slugfest just don’t get it.

Agreed. I used to think an elite defense (and I think LSU falls a little short of elite) could shut down any offense. But things have changed. The new offenses that take advantage of old rules have given the offense the upper hand. Deshaun Watson proved it. I think this offense is better than those Clemson offenses.

That’s not even a debate. We have 4 NFL WRs with the best QB Bama has ever had. Probably 3-4 NFL RBs too. Clemson’s RB was Wayne Gallman

I also think Bama’s been sort of crapping around this year... playing our best for half an game and just experimenting ... kind of like a heavyweight champ working through a series of sparing partners.

I don’t think we’ve unleashed the beast yet.

I still think this oline is powerfully built and can be devastating on the ground. And I’m not sure we’ve fully seen that yet.

In short, I will be shocked if this isn’t a blowout.

Expecting 40-50 points on the road in Baton Rouge is just setting yourself up for dissapointment.

L7U always had those bad arse DEs to rush the QB...their DL is the difference in this game. I don't expect much pressure on TUA.

I thînk your nuts if you think this is not a game in the 4th quarter. LSU players coaches and fans live for this one weekend. They will be ready and we will have to bring our A game to win"

Well maybe so. But we have beat their asses for many years with offenses that couldn’t touch this one. And we scored 30+ twice.

I think your wrong.

Not down there we didn't.

I think it's reasonable to expect us to score 30-35. I can't say I expect it because I won't believe it till I see it, though.

Meh. It's Ed O and an LSU team that has had things fall into place with good fortune. Their offense is improved slightly over last year and their defense ain't what it used to be. They're running on emotion. Bama scores two quick TD'S and even their emotion is gone. 48-22.

If you dont think there is a chance we lose the game, then you are fooling yourself. LSU is a very good football team. Also, when you factor in the fact that no one on there team has better Bama, that adds another level to it. Its also at LSU at night which is tough to play in. We don't have a reliable kicker should our drives stall at long fg ranges. The noise level will be the loudest Tua has every played in. I am hoping Smith is good to go, but if he isnt', we have waddle. However, in the tenn game there was so missed opportunites with Tua and him and that could be problematic.

I don't expect anything. I would like us to jump all over them early. I believe that would basically seal the victory

Yea. There is a chance we lose. If Tua gets hurt.

Otherwise no chance.

In fact, I’m considering catching up on some things out in the workshop and just listening to Eli. That’s how worried I am.

I think that is the key.......hit a couple scores early. Rattle them and quiet the crowd down. Force LSU to get aggressive to try and keep up and force them into mistakes

We’re going to come out throwing. Shock and awe. And then, when we’re up, we’re gonna pound the rock and mix in play action.

Yeah, this isn’t a “survive the initial shitshow” type game that we would see in other big games like AU. This will require us to punch them in the mouth early so they don’t dictate the tempo and pace of the game.

We can take them to the deep end of the pool.....we got too many weapons. I think Coach O will hit the panic button if he gets down by 14-17.

They dont have any options if that happens.
