These words are complete nonsense to anyone who's played linebacker at a high level. You obviously have absolutely no idea - NO IDEA AT ALL - how to play ILB.

Holcombe, while not quite as good as the starters when everyone is healthy, has played a lot of good football for Bama both in a reserve/specialist role on D and on special teams. He's also our best MLB in pass coverage by a country mile. Holcombe is an asset to Bama.

Any insinuation otherwise is patently false and evidence that you don't or can't follow Bama very closely during the games.

I do want to say he did have 2-3 missed tackles against MSU, that was man on man and he let them break free.

2 were Fitzgerald(goaline and one where Fitz spun out if it and went right), and if not him the 3rd time it was Aeris Williams.

Those are plays he has to man up on...
