Pamela is right. There is a reason players aren't allowed to speak to the media. It's so they don't whine and pout when things don't go their way. Which one could argue is what her son did today.

"You have no idea what is and has been going on-- and most likely, never will."

I'm sorry if she thought her son would be babied and get to keep his job because he was there first. He can tighten his chin strap and outplay the other guy or he can tuck tail and leave. This is Alabama we're talking about. You're either mentally tough, like Saban always talks about, or you talk to the media about how no one asked how you feel and your mom makes crazy posts on social media backing her son's (arguably) entitled comments.

This is creating distractions. You can't tell me that if more of this shite happens that things won't become cancerous in the locker room, if it hasn't already

Jalen's dad started the problem with his threat of Jalen becoming the biggest free agent in CFB. Then, Jaylen messed up real bad today. And his mom might've just finished him off. After putting their entitled attitudes on full display, when Jalen does grad transfer, there won't be nearly as many FBS HCs out there who'll want him. Lane Kiffin might -- if he's still at FAU.

I'm just really disappointed. This isn't how you handle things. This isn't the way to be a team player.

Sumlin will take him and that's actually where I predict he will end up.

Coach Saban doesn't appear to be the touchy feely type and he's going to ask Jalen about his feelings? C'mon. This is big-time college football at Bama and most players get two years to show what they have to offer or they are processed. Jalen got his two years and it was all good for him and his family as long as he was the starter. I was telling other folks to chill earlier but now I think it's time for Jalen to leave Tuscaloosa or leave the football team at least.

He might, if he doesn't have another good option at QB. I doubt that I would. His parents = Trouble.

And, what kills me is Jalen's mom is acting as if Jalen's time in Tuscaloosa has been bad. I mean he was the starter for two seasons and was only pulled in the second half of the last game he played. This all looks like Jalen and his camp can't take that he's been supplanted. This is ridiculous.

I agree. This isn't good for anyone involved right now. It's basically a toxic relationship

I am really disappointed too. The one big thing Jalen hadn't lost was the love and respect of his teammates, coaches and fans, because of the class he'd shown during, after and since the title game. He really blew it today.

This is all such an odd thing.

Less than 2 years ago, Jalen was this mythical figure who couldn’t be shaken and never felt nerves. He wasn’t scared in any situation and had ice flowing in his veins. His coach of a dad had taught him to be stone cold and nothing could change his demeanor. He was Saban Jr. according to all the talking heads.

Today, he seems to be the opposite of Everything he was touted to be during that mid season run in 2016.

He'll end up at UCLA with Chip Kelly. Sumlin has a weapon already. Chip Kelly has John O'Korn.

EDIT: Wilton Speight, not O'Korn. Same deal tho.
