Saban has never really had to deal with this before. This will be something new.

Anderson and BY for sure

Probably another 2-3. Don’t think it’ll be a ton

Branch maybe?
Byron Young?

Both Bryce and Will should. It would be dumb to risk it.

I’m hoping our leaders (Bryce and Will) step up and affirm the standard that Nick has set. Finish. This could lay the foundation for 2023.

A bunch as well as a lot of transfers that won’t participate. Bama will be short handed in all likelihood

As I've said 4-6.
Bryce, Will, Gibbs, Battle, maybe a couple more defensive guys.

Going to see some more transfers too. I expected some receivers and linebackers.

I give 0 fricks if all of the starters do. Saban even admitted bowl games are meaningless now. Play the future

Eta. All of the starters leaving.

Battle needs to play, he’s been invisible for long stretches this year

Anyone who sits out should owe the university a lot of money as well as their NIL sponsors.

I don't give a shite if people think the game is "meaningless". By that logic, these players should have sit every game out following the LSU loss. Hell, why should the playoffs even matter to them if their primary concern is the NFL? More of a risk being injured playing in 2 extra games than one. Finish the season with your fricking team. Injuries are part of the game.

This bowl game is an opportunity to show that the committee made a mistake. It's an opportunity to prove that Bama isn't going anywhere.

As long as it happens immediately and the replacements get the entire practice time/film as starters, I'm good with it.

Great opportunity to jump start the next season.

We’re just going to have to disagree. A bowl game with a coaching staff on its way out (or a makeshift one if they’re already gone) with players opting out isn’t going to show me much of anything. And I think the committee got it right

Eta even if it won’t show anything I do want the potential starters for next year getting snaps and hopefully building on their confidence

I would rather see what next year’s team could look like. Show me some Ty Simpson.

I don’t want to see either of those get hurt, let them sit and go represent Bama on Sundays. Either could be our first overall #1 in a while..or ever? I can’t remember

QB’s are obviously hard to evaluate, but seeing Klubnik last night and knowing Clemson waited on Ty before taking his commitment makes me excited. Hopefully he picks up the offense and we see him sooner than later.

It'll definitely give us a good chance to see some of next year's talent. Problem is a very good physical K St squad is going to give their all with probably no opt outs & they'll be very fired up to knock off the Tide.

Eli Holstein could push for time next year. My kid played against him in playoffs. He is huge and athletic. Also depending on who sits I would mind seeing them experiment with Milton at RB or something given his size and athletic ability and get him and Ty Simpson in field at same time. I know it won’t happen but it would be fun I think.

I think the best way to ensure you have energy is to play kids who will have energy. New starters are going to (you'd think) work their arse off in bowl prep and be jacked to play ball.

It still doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things as it won't change their decision and I doubt it plays a part in their ranking criteria next year. We should get as many guys coming back as many reps as possible, the whole staff and team is gonna be totally different next year anyways so might as well start early
